grant careem well for a start there was no season 7 episode 10. Season 8 gets a bad wrap. Most people just call it bad because others do. It probably is the worst season but of course it was going to be, it’s got 6 episodes as opposed to 10 in other seasons and 7 in season 7. I also think the long night is without a doubt the best episode there has ever been. Sure the pacing is off and there are some questionable outcomes but the first 3-4 episodes of season 8 are incredible.

@@quemoiettoi no they adapted it to the tv show.. Until they ran out of material to adapt and they basically fucked it with writing an original story and wrapping it up. They basically give 0 shits about the show and they have said many times that they don't get it and they try to make the show as far away from fantasy as they can cause they don't think it fits

I don’t understand what was the whole point of Jon Snow being who he really is and what he is, if at the end he ended up back at the wall and beyond the wall. He’s a true hero and a true warrior. He is Stark and Targaryen. Because of Jon basically everyone is alive because he convinced everyone that the Night King and his dead army are coming for them. He came back to life because supposedly he was the promised king. He took back Winterfell after Ramsey took over. So all of that just for him to end up at the wall while everyone else got a happy ending? He deserved a better ending.

When writers want to subvert expectations just to subvert expectations - when they think people want just shocking plot twists... that's just the worst writing for me. It's like... Coulda had her kill the Night King, but at least have Jon fight him. I don't care if it's 'too predictable' - it's not *predictable* - it's *owed* . It's what the whole show was building towards - Death vs. Life. The one who reanimates corpses to the one who was resurrected. Instead, they just go with Arya 'cos... shock factor? I know it's canon and we can't change it so let's get used to it... still - it bothers me.

@@Rougeification I think the 'owed' stuff is just as bad as subverting expectations for it's own sake. My sense of GoT has always just been that anything can happen. There's a sense of realism in it, any character can be killed off, magic isn't clearly defined, the right answer for decisions the characters to make is often not clear - it's murky and messy. Nothing is necessarily owed, and the business with the Night King could have legitimately played out in many different ways.

Snow has the most beautiful journey out of all❤❤❤

Jon being a targaryen was all 2 predictable n in the end ... anticlimatic. A much more interesting spin would have been if he was actually all starc son of Ned n Lyanna. That wouldve been quite a juxtaposition when compared with Cersei n Jamie.

How is it at all predictable that rhaegar and lyanna (two characters never shown in the show) not only were not a kidnapper and a rape victim as everyone alive says, but man and wife, AND lyanna was pregnant with his baby, who ned saved and raisrd as his own son under the pretense of a bastard. Its a fantastic twist, even if you knew Jon's mother surely must've been important, you would never guess it was lyanna and his father wasn't ned but rhaegar. The problem is the writers behind the show are neanderthals.

I've just started reading the books. He's an even better character.

An absolutely fantastic Jon Snow video. It brought tears to my eyes. I think the ending was always going to be similar to how it ended, with Jon and Danny, but what upset me the most was how ruthlessly cut short it was. The story was not given the time or respect it demanded in one super short season. If directors are going to put their name to a television phenomenon then they MUST give it the respect and the time it needs to fulfill the epic story line. I can not watch it again as I know how it ends poorly and quickly and I will never be able to put faith in shows/movies made by the same producers D & D.

The first time I watched season 8, I felt really horrible. But when I rewatched the whole series recently,I think that whatever happened in season 8 was the best thing that could have happened. Watch the whole series again and you will feel that some of them were right.

@@fariszakwan4374 think about what danaerys had gone through. All because of cersei. She lost ser jorah, missandei, and even her 2 of her dragons all because of cersei. And what did cersei do, she used innocent people as defence so that dany couldn't attack kings landing. So danaerys proved her wrong. She destroyed cersei built, her dream, her kingdom, her loved ones .

I will never get over this show 😭😭
