I only knew of Frank Sidebottom through watching the kids TV series No 73 growing up (in the days when children were often exposed to a lot of anarchic, surreal and left wing culture in the media rather than the brainless, sanitized rubbish they get today) but I couldn't understand how you can make an American movie about Frank Sidebottom when he was so British and the film seemed pretty and glib. I would have preferred to see a gritty, British northern film about Frank Sidebottom.

did you not listen to the interview? It was explicitly said that Frank (Chris Sievey) didnt want it to be a biopic about him.

I hate the look and voice they gave Frank in the movie. It’s totally off and makes it completely unwatchable.

@@sydmaker4115 are you for real? The real Frank has a squeaky nosey voice and a northern English accent. The movie “Frank” is deep, monotone, and American. You clearly aren’t a Frank Sidebottom fan 😂

The movie was rubbish, sad, I️t could have been amazing there was compelling story sadly I️t was left up to a poor writer to tell the story and we got a crap film that doesn’t do Frank Sidebottom justice, know your limitations
