This song saved my life.Years overseas coming back with two of my digs. Heavy delays,no sleep for days.LAX waiting for dogs routed thru Europe.No sleep. Rental car to Salt Lake area and 3 times at the wheel I fell asleep at the wheel, and was awoken to this song which I loved.

Just discovered this song tonight on the radio and had to find it and played it for my wife, who is a huge country music fan and has been trying to get me to listen to country for years...she couldn’t believe I played this for her as she loves it...hell of a song - wow have I been missing out! I know what genre I am going to dive right into now! This is one of those songs that you want to have a drink with your girl and tear up the dance floor - puts you in a great mood! Love this song! I'm probably the only Filipino guy driving around Santa Clarita rocking Country music. lol

Great song. Melodic and rhythmic it's a great sound. Looks like most of the scenes were shot at Dockweiler Beach, Venice Beach’s Pacillion and Boardwalk areas, and a little of the Playa Del Rey/Westchester bluffs at one point when he’s driving on either Jefferson or Culver. The rest of the bluffs are shot from the service road along Dockweiler Beach. Hence, the airplane taking off in one of the first shots.

Just have to say one thing to say why is everybody hating on pop country, i love real country like Easton, but like all music is has to evolve or else it fades and dies out. the way i look at it there is more country to enjoy. i love George strait Toby Keith Alan Jackson Kenny Rogers but i also like sam hunt luke bryan thomas rhett. i know change is hard for a lot of people but it happens. just respect it and accept it . for every kid that will listen to sam hunt they will be curious to find out where country came from and learn about classic country and fall in love with it all. it happened to me. you real country is about the true stories in life. i agree that's why i love country. but today's stories are different. they are the new generation's stories. not our stories our children's stories. why do not we give it a try and listen to the new stories. isn't that what country is about. stories friends family good times. we should try to all get along and listen to each other's stories in country old and new.....

There’s a reason we started calling artists like madonna and Michael Jackson “pop” and not “rock”. Sure, music evolves, but when it strays far from key characteristics of the genre that came before it, we give it another name. This is no where near any roots to country. Pop beat, pop lyrics, pop tempo. You could have the lead singer of maroon 5, Adam Levine, sing this song, and radio stations would be calling it pop. But the minute some producers for record companies from NY or LA wanna make some money off their southern demographic, they put some guy with an over the top “country” accent on it, and all of a sudden it’s considered country. This hurts artists who actually play the genre and excludes them from all the major radio stations that are now owned by corporations like CBS that will only play artists attached to record companies that they either own or have a deal with. It’s a big scheme. That’s why people hate on “pop country” because there isn’t anything really country about it, and it’s the physical representation of money-hungry corporations shitting on the common man. **edit: Also, as an alternative- instead of “pop country”, it should probably just be called something like “southern pop” because it is more heavily tied to pop, and has a southern influence. Then we should have “southern pop” radio stations for that kind of music, and let all the other artists who are actually playing country play on country stations. Just a thought.

I grew to listening to him & he just gets better with time. I absolutely love your music Jon. You were AMAZING live at the Guitar Pull in GA last year (2021). Thank you for filling my life with your music. My mom passed in 2020, but she definitely raised us on some of the best music! I think of her every day & I picture her dancing like she always did, to your songs. The beautiful Tina Brady 😇 1965-2020 ☺️❤️
