Money's great, but you only need so much to live happily. I think what it really comes down to is does the challenge & adventure excite him. Does he want to be not just a great boxer but an all-around fighter. He sounded curious about it, I don't know the man but I think the only things that would hold him back from takin' the plunge are 1) If he feels he has unfinished business in boxing. 2) He's not curious enough to leave his comfort zone & 3) He's rich but can't get over the lower pay. Bonus 4) Feels he has to spend all of his time Boxing in order to cement the greatest boxing legacy he can or he could really enjoy the purity of boxing & not want to complicate that joy by adding additional disciplines to it. I hope the challenge excites him enough to do it.

MMA fighters have been training every discipline since some of them where 4-5 years old and so on. All he was taught was to strike, and idc who trains him, he will get head kicked, ripped to the ground, brutally beaten, & then have a arm or leg snapped within 30 seconds by an elite UFC fighter. If he stopped boxing right now, and maybe did 5-8 years of dedicated not stop training, learning, he might beat some very average guy, maybe. I’m sorry but you don’t know what you are talkin bout man lol
