It's just amazing that in 2024 bonjovi still relevant when their peers aren't, but that's because great song writing, staying true ,f8ghting adversity, trends,and that fact they are from jersey n0t LA hel0ed them stay humble and stay relevant, they new when to cut their hair,mature as a band ,never bored us got to the chorus,and for the m9st part kept business and cliche rock stardom to themselves,im sure they weren't saints and had demons but survived them ,love to see richie back in the family, yes bonjovi while jons vision but are still family and friends after 40 yrs.is beyond incredible,and still have hit songs and albums is amazing,even artists that use to slag them are giving them. Props and giving them respect .isaw this band in 1989 for the first time and several times after ,in 1993 in the mist of Seattle sound they still could fill twenty thousand seat venue's while some or most of their peers at hat time would be lucky to fill clubs or state fairs .40 yrs seems like only yesterday ,and slippery was 37 yrs ago .I remember getting the first two records on vinyl shortly after slippery blew up till this day I love their first record ,and looking forward to bonjovi forever in June. Some stayed for the ride with this band and some dropped off ,and some after richie quit ,I think this new record is going to kill the last few and going back to their roots.lets hope sambora can get healthier and return with his bonjovi family .😅

CONGRATULATIONS !!!

I took up guitar over 30yrs ago because I wanted to play Wanted: Dead or Alive and Sweet Child of mine. Still trying, infact because I'm not very good. But there has never been a day where I've picked up the guitar and thought 'I don't like this/I don't want to do this anymore/I'm giving this up' because I just love playing it. Some days are better than others. Not a best friend but certainly one I'd miss if it wasn't there. Bon Jovi was a turning point. I fell out of favour with them after the Have a Nice Day album but was thankful for the previous 20yrs that they gave me. I hear his voice isn't so good now. No matter. He literally left it all out there and you can't ask more than that. I hope that he can look back on his career and know that he did it right...

I know he's had vocal cord surgery and is on the way to recovery, but even his speaking voice sounds tired. Mick Hucknall from Simply Red once said that speaking is worse for a singer than singing is for the vocal cords. I'm sure that vocal exercises aren't the coolest thing for rock singers, but it's simply necessary. Do vocal exercises, don't give more than one interview a day, do warm ups and learn how to use your voice properly.

Honestly...one of the great guys being a humble and being awesome.
