Looking good! Feel like it may be a pain with not being able to see the tubes when you're putting your rods in if the hatch doesn't run the length of the compartment. Best of luck with the rest of the build!

What thickness is that aluminum plate for the trolling motor ?
What size angle did you use on the side rails? If it’s 1/8” thick how did you bend it to lay flat with the rest of your deck framing?

1/16x1.5x1.5. I’ve tried with 1/8 and I had to redo it. If you need aluminum go to tbnation.net
