Spoons are so old school, nobody uses them anymore, and as you can see, that's a big mistake! Spoons are great winter time lures too, worked a little slower of course! I use to use the red and white trout catching classic, called the "daredevil." Works great for bass too!👍😋

watching you guys do this on that rez is mind blowing to live where we are is so dam lucky. To have so many different fisheries to make us well rounded anglers from the tidal grassy potomac to the rez where your ripping spoons and crankbaits and scroungers for deep fish its just mind blowing

Matt: How long have I been telling you about big baits, muskie lures, for bass? Nice to know you finally have your eyes open. (no sarcasm meant, seriously) Are big baits/muskie lures always good for catching bass? No, of course not. But they are another tool in the tacklebox .

Great job! The jumbo spoon surprised me too. I fish saltwater in Florida. 30 years ago, big silver spoons were used to get big snook. Today, they are out of fashion, never see them. I'm going to get one!

O man! The dam! That's the spot. If I recall i use to sit out in the middle, and cast towards the sign at the end of the dam and work it back deep. The point behind you is great too, and of course the one across from that one with the house on it. The deep creek channel on either side, as you enter that cove has big bass! I caught a six pounder there one time with Norman DD22 crank bait. It was like 20 feet down as i entered the cove on the right side! Hope these tips help you catch a 30 pound limit!🤟😜🎣🎣

With the giant spoons you are using the first thing I would do is take off the treble hook, attach a barrel swivel, and then put hook of your choice on the barrel swivel. The fish can torque the heck out of the hook and pop off with out the barrel swivel. The barrel swivel will eliminate that torque and you'll land nearly every fish you hook.

I like it!!!! --- Thinking being in the right place with those techniques gonna really pay off!!! The water may cool off a bit after this heat-streak --- the big ones may become a lil more active!?! Not a bad bag, but not so sure of what could have been done differently. ? 3 differently sized spoons ? 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 - they're not cheap and couldn't afford to loose too many, that's for sure; maybe one of those knocker/retrievers you mentioned last vid. Thought then of how to make weedless/snagless (maybe a doub vs the treb setup with a ring vs a swivel, just thinkin'). Both y'all --- Good stuff.

I lose to many with the big spoons even with the stinger. I went to 4 and 5 inch with a single saltwater hook, i still catch the same fish off the ledges and they stay pinned.
