🤣me too. Still alot of tournaments left, and this is generally when the struggle starts for us so you never knows. Bubble boys might bubble.

Wow Ace what a beast!!!!!!!! So happy for you both in this years series, overall fourth is so great. It's such a weird time of year when you end up throwing so much finesse bait. Moving slow across the bottom takes a lot of patience. As always CANNOT get enough of theses tournament vids. Best of luck this coming Sunday.

Highly recommend a weightless 5" bass assassin shad on those calm days. Hits will come on the pause. Keep them in your arsenal.

I’ve been watching since you did the 50 state tour in the van and I loved that, loved the swim bait sessions, the musky fishing and definitely the tournament fishing! You’re channel definitely never gets boring or too repetitive so keep at it and you’ll get there….but honestly I can tell you love what you do so that’s all that really matters.

Keep it rollin’! This is the season you’ve been working for - thanks for sharing your experiences.

The tourneys I fish with ace have been back to back weekends (generally they’re every other weekend) then I fish Tuesday nighters, and I try to find one in between weekends as well

caught a 2.5 pounder that saturday on a jig with a crawfish trailer. definitely was tough fishing though but when is the rez not.

Not gonna lie that fish looked like a 5 1/2 to 6 pounds until you turn her and see he belly!!! No way I would have called that one a 8 pounder!! That's awesome man. A buddy and I went out on our local lake Saturday, he over slept we were going to fish a different lake cause he has a derby this Saturday. We didn't get on the lake till about 1030 and we went to our first spot and there were boats everywhere cause they had a pretty good size derby going that day, long story short, at our first spot we fished behind 4 different bots, I got a smaller that was 3 5 lbs and we took a few pictures and threw her back the we went about 100 yards into a little cut and I got one that was pushing 5, I don't know how many boats we fished behind and I had the best day on this lake I've ever had, our best 5 ended up a little over 17, my previous best on this lake was about 9 pounds. And I got to catch them all except the smallie my favorite way to fish, flipping! The smallie came on a chatter baits. The rest were on a Texas rig. Only caught one short fish had one break me off at the hook set, my fault for not checking my li e and retying, and then I lost one more that was over 3 and I never put a hook in her, thought I was hung up so I just started reeling in and then I figured out I had a fish on, and I couldn't really set the hook or I'd had hit my buddy in the face! When she came to top water she opened her mouth and I got my bait back and the hook point wasn't even through the bait. Keep those videos coming and 2nd place is not 1st but it sure beats not even getting into the money!!!! Keep it up, you guys will get that 1st place. Stay safe out there on and off the water. I’m using 15lb power pro braided line and a 8-10lb seaguar fluorocarbon leader. If you don’t know how to tie an FG knot, it’s worth taking the time to learn.

Hey Matt i have a question/ponderment lol. Why dont you guys try deeper water when its this hot this early in the season? I just think if you did some spoon jiggin you would pull some big fish in these early tournaments when its this hot this early in the season. But i digress lol.

We try quite a bit throughout the day when we can't get anything going that usually doesn't make the video. Though neither of us rigged up a spoon for this one, we did rip some crankbaits around, swimbaits, shakey head, football jig deep. The upcoming tourneys will definitely be focused on deeper water if the majority of fish have moved out...which I think will be the case.
