Joker knives are one of the best kept secrets in the industry! Great value for the money. I own 3, the nomad, lynx, and the bushcrafter. They wont be my last. I own a lot of high end knives and Joker knives hold their own against them. Great vid,and keep them comming!

I have a Joker Campero, not really a dedicated bushcraft knife, but it should certainly work for that. It is an excellent knife for general field use: camping, hiking, maybe hunting, or fishing. Really sharp, the same sheath you got.

Cheers for the wonderful review. The trampero looks like it will pair well with a saw and hatchet. I can't see myself enjoy walking with a bigger knife on the belt for to long.

I got my first one today. The quality is better than any other knife that I have ever seen. 77 US dollars. No it does not have the super steel, but it has a steal that can be worked with periodically. I ordered two more today.

Bark River knives from Escanaba Michigan are my favorites... But again, $300.00 knives... (Best handles in the industry)

What can I say. I have 24 Joker knives if I counted correctly. Almost all with the BS-9 stamp and all designed by J. Sabater. Different steels, grinds and handle materials. Fit and finish is amazing on all of them. Where the spearpoints are not the most appealing to my eye they sure are functional. So yes. I highly recommend the Joker knives (with BS-9 stamp). I have that Real Steel in coyote and my handle is rock solid so my guess is you have a bad one that escaped QC.

spearpoint or more commonley known as a kephart style blade are amazing.Designeb by probably the most experianced outdoorsman ever(Horace Kephart) over a hundred years ago. He knew what he was doing. Agree not the most visably appealing knife, but boy does it work!

@@johnheller5786 Kephart did design a knife but used the traditional spearpoint blade shape that goes back to the stone ages. Like J. Sabater designed this knife for the Joker Company. Kephart was a travel writer and librarian and a famous outdoorman in the US (because he was a writer and had a platform like Nessmuk), but that doesn't make him the best outdoorsman in the history. He did know what he was doing. So in the US you might want to call this a Kephart knife but the US is not the world and I prefer to call this style of knives a spearpoint knife.

@@stevanoutdoor I get that. I actually said he was one of the best outdoorsman. He spent most of his life living in the outdoors. They actually named a national forest after him i believe. es the pear point has been around before him,but because he was a writer he made the style more popular,so give the man his credit. However he never really mentioned that style of blade in his wriittings.

@@johnheller5786 he did write about the ideal knife.....and he described his own knife....there were two sizes and and they were concave blades.....something I wish Joker would have done on this knife....they went full flat......their Nomad is a concave blade....yours seems to have olive wood handles.....super hard wood with nice figuring....but I prefer Micarta....impervious to anything.

@@adrianotero7963 I was talking about the style of the blade not the grind. Yes he mentioned 2 sizes of blades,a 4 inch and 5 inch I believe. As far as grinds go ,you put 5 people in a room and you'll probably get 5 different answers on what is the best grind. Wait! Are there five different grinds? You get what I'm saying. If you want to know what the kephart knife is,get beckers version of it. Becker actually bought one of kepharts knife and designed it after that knife. Take care and be safe
