I love the Joker line of knives. I'm a big fan of Nessmuk blades. I've this very knife with the curly birch handles and love it. The Ursus and Nomad knives with Bohler N695 steel are great too. Thanks for shining a light on the Joker brand. 🤙

For you, the "Pizza cutting challenge is a real win-win - situation, first you have one of those everyday tasks, second you have sliced Pizza for Scab and Megatron! And I know for sure, making nice, well cut slices out of a real italian Pizza is not easy. The crispy edge, the bottom, cheese, tomatoes and tomato sauce, bell peppers and other vegetables, bacon, salami, meat balls, you name it, so much different materials what makes it difficult to do a good, clean cut, ready for eating. I love Nesmuk style knives, I love the Chris Tanner Jessmuk. But this particular knife is pretty expensive in Germany. The Joker Nesmuk on the other hand... The one with the stagg handle is € 130,-- give or take, and there are birch, walnut and olive wood handles, the walnut handled is about € 80,-- what is not expensive at all for a knife of this size and built quality. Is it possible that you are reviewing the "old model" of the Joker Nesmuk? In a direct comparison between model 1 and midel two there are only two things different: The old models (yours) blade length is 11,5 cm, the new one is 12 cm. Half a cm, 5 mm, is nothing. Second thing, the new model is a full flat grind. Yours seems to have a very high saber grind. I love the well thought out blade shape of Nesmuk style knives. It is designed for processing game and especially hide. But there is more. You are able to use the wider part of the tip of a Nesmuk style knife like a spoon. Own a couple of Spanish blades-Joker and Muela. They are not made of super steel but they are exceptionally well made. I believe they use German stainless. Top notch blades. Great value for the money.

14c28n is a very easy to maintain steel. One of the reasons you see it used in a lot of razors and kitchen knives.

If I hadn't seen you struggle more with other knives on these tests I would have thought it did a good job. But man this really killed it with the cutting tasks! Maybe one of the best so far. And especially considering it's size! Really cool brother.

I was very impressed with the joker I bought. Only used it a little bit so far,did a fat wood fire and such but it worked fine and was sharp. I really liked the sheath it came with. Leather is always a plus in my book. I’m not a fan of kydex or nylon/plastic. Awesome demo brother. 👍👍

Nessmuk Time Brother. I'm starting to like these Nessmuk knives and they are new to me. but like them a lot, especially the way they slice. You will have a couple more heading your way soon and there are different sizes than what you have tested so you will have the full scoop under your belt of Nessmuk-style blades for sure. You are good at handling any knife I've seen you demo and there have been a bunch of them. Cut on Brother.

Great looking knife, that handle is beautiful just wish it was bolted on (just a personal preference). On a knife like this the thinner it gets at the edge the more chance your going to get a chip just a balancing act that designers have to choose if you want a good slicer it needs to be thin a good chopper needs to be a bit more substantial. If you use a knife your going to get a chip one of these days just sharpen it out and go on about your day is all you can do. Personally I love the Toughness and edge retention you get out of 14C28N I have several knives in that steel in folders and fixed blades and it is becoming one of my favorites steels and it sharpens very easily as well as easy to strop back to razor sharp. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I don't think stag horn scales is the ideal material for a working knife....they are relatively fragile....they are very pretty....but prefer wood on this model, since micarta is not an option....

I do get to keep quite a few now. I didn't mean to come off as otherwise. Some knives that you see on the channel are actually sent to me by subscribers not the companies. So if say a subscriber sends me a particular knife I want to check out I do the review clean it up and send it back The vast majority sent to me by makers or companies I do get to keep. I just want to clear that up I don't want anything to be out there that isn't on the level
