I've had mine for 2 years now. Is my main camp knife! The modern Alloys that Sandvik uses for stainless are great! Not as hard as high carbon of course but holds its Edge fine. I'm keeping it forever.

Great pick, sir ! I like the more traditional styles of fixed blades. The ones that were primarily used in the frontier days. Beautiful blade.

Its not much of a stabber it's to wide at the tip but it's one hell of a chopper & slicey too it will slice your vedgies..Thanks Paddy👍

It's now available in Olive wood...excellent wood for a working knife.....very hard.

Beautiful knife! What are your thoughts a year on? I recently bought a Carbon Garberg, considering the Nessmuk for a general camp knife (feathersticks, batoning, food etc) - what are your thoughts on the grind? Considering the flat grind version for food prep and comboing a hatchet for splitting

the nessmuck is ideal for batoning its perfect for that, its not a food prep knife though , it is well made and chunky i like it but its not my favorite.

@@ApiaryGaming Opinel are good for food prep although for me I prefer Old Bear by Antonini , similar to opinel but better materials and locking mechanism but still bargain priced.

Fantastic you have a Svord mini on the way that is still my #1 workhorse pocket knife, nice bit of Sweedish tool steel, funky looking knife to some but awesome to those that actualy use them..Nice one buddy 👍

@@JollyPeanut If I love it, you get the credit! I like the looks of it, even the primitive grind. Maybe I’ll spring for the wood handles next time. Am awful cheap, though. Toad on the hill has really gotten into friction folders, has a bunch of them. I also ordered a locking copperhead in rams horn. You’re costing me money. Lol.

@@skcamerican I think the polymer handle on the mini is the best its light waterproff super tough...The rams horn copperlock from Frost another classic love those things too,,best value blades 👍

@@skcamerican Glad you like them, the Svord if you carry it & use it you will love it even more or at least i did , its comfortable & that Sweedish tool steel is one of my favorite for a work knife, best bang for buck 👍🦄🦄🦄 gets the tripple Unicorn award lol🤣

Nice...you are saying not all your knives are going to be kept a lifetime? This seems beefier than those Ukraine made knives. Good luck getting one of those at this point I would think. Actually they are still available. The adventurer w the ferro rode half the price as this but im thinking this one is better

I have not sold any knives as yet but never say never what with inflation and all i could maybe even make a profit if i wanted to...The BPS knives don't make one as stout as this & they stopped production a while ago, supply on some models have all sold out, they are good knives i hope they make a come back even if in the future the box says made in Russia...Thanks DG👍
