    I thought it was supposedly illegal to destroy or deface money because it's technically "government property". But then again, those are Americans dimes and the federal reserve isn't actually a part of or beholden to our government or our people, so perhaps that's why it's ok?

    Been definitely curious how good this knife is for being a clone. Since temu has a promo and i can get it for $1.64. I own a real one but being its price i really dont wanna beat on it to much. Why i would prefer a knockoff if it can do basic tasks.

    I've just bought one of these & as much as I like it, it has one of the most uncomfortable handles I've ever experienced on a knife. I'm also considering a custom leather sheath.

  • @JollyPeanut
    @JollyPeanut7 күн бұрын

    I have XL hands the handle fits me. If the handle is large for you i would consider making the handle fit your hand better if you have the tools & skill. A cusom sheath sounds nice...😎👍

    I know this is an old video but I had to get a G10 Scaled Knife, I was obsessed & since this is only my second knife. The first one only cost 50bucks sencut button lock with dual deployment thumb & flipper. Don't have much use for knives. initially I was just looking for one to add to an emergency kit and I got caught up in just admiring the looks of certain knives. Love my wood scaled sencut but it is too pretty for yard work. After months of looking at videos, I got EF963. Its heavier than I'd like, blade & G10 Jade are beautiful, the cross bar lock is stiff, hurts my fingers, & deployment is awkward. Does the cross lock get easier to slide with use? Can a knife be too big to deploy properly? EF950 was a little smaller & may of been lighter but I like the blade & handle shape on the EF963. Plus I never used a thumb hole before;

  • @JollyPeanut

    Sounds like your getting into knives 😄 carefull its a hobby that can be addictive.I have hundreds of knives. I like Sencut & EF knives & many other makers. Does the lock mechanism loosen up yes it will if you use it enough & a few drops of oil will help, for me this is a good size knife for EDC but i have XL hands. My perfect knife will probably not be your perfect knife, infact the perfect knife is difficult to find but it is fun searching for it.....😎👍

    If you want to buy a modern Case buy anything with “t.b.” In the model number a the quality goes way up. Those are the patterns overseen by Tony Bose and he forced Case to really focus on fit and finish with his knives.

    I think those were also available through the exchange stores or commissary during that era too, not just a service issue only item. Have one and looked it up and saw they're not particularly expensive ($20 to $30 as of May 2024), so it must be common enough to just use it rather than treat as some rare collectible.

    I have a Butane single burner camp stove and an Ozark Trail propane like this one. The butane won't work well in cold temps, and its stove is bigger more clumsy than this stove. The only con is that the OT propane stove has no self igniter, like the Butane stove has. But the OT is smaller and easier to use.

    @JollyPeanut I don't need any more knives, now I'm getting down to mostly clones and Chinese knives and a few American companies knives. Oh I just keep saying I'm going to stop. I'm going to stop, and I'll buy more and more. I'll sell one and buy two!🤣 every now and then, I just see one that I can't help it, maybe it's a clone of something that always wanted, and just didn't want to spend the money or something. I'm out of control JP. I need help!🤣

    I have a titanium one It's a larger size and I really like it, but I don't carry it. I've really been looking at this one too. I've been buying a lot of knock offs lately JP. A couple of them I had the original like Protech Strider + and the Reate Exo M, both I have sold since I purchased, but I can't wait to get the knockoffs probably those I won't be afraid to use. It just takes over long to deliver from China. I want them yesterday not tomorrow! Lol nice editing and pics on your review.

    With Temu some come from china some come from local somewhere in US you pay $3 shipping from local & free ship from china. Some of these knock-offs are realy good & some are sh*t. I just picked up a cold steel AD-15 spoiler alert its on the Sh*t side of knock-offs..... The more pricey ones like you pickup look really good....Thanks buddy happy Sunday to you ..

    @JollyPeanut yeah before AliExpress cut me off it was the same, every now and then I'll get a really shitty one, but typically I paid less than $30.00 so it wasn't a huge loss. Now I'm starting to see these clones on eBay and mostly they're good, but sometimes you get a shitty one, that's almost half the fun of it, when you get a really good one and you're so excited. Lol I think I tried Temu, but not for very long, I just bought a couple and I didn't really see much I liked. They might have changed, but there's so many on Amazon and eBay that's keeping me in enough trouble!lol🙄😆
