@@omnimon2230to be fair to the joker, spiderman’s one bad day was different than his or batmans. Batman watched his parents get killed in front of him by some random crook. It wasn’t his fault. Spiderman had a chance to stop the crook who killed uncle ben, so to him, the blood is on his hands. The city didn’t fail uncle Ben, he failed uncle Ben. Batman’s crusade is against the cruelty of the world, but spidermans mission is just to never make the same mistake again.

Their names just make it more amusing. He would get along well with Barbara too considering how techie Peter is. I absolutely adore the idea of batman having contingency plans for everyone he meets. (as he does), and there's a niche AI meme format on youtube if you're interested in that. But ive always stood by the fact, that it was very simple for Batman to have a contingency plan for Spider-Man, as all he'd have to do is to hire Peter to work at Wayne Industries, and pay him well. And then all of Peter's problems would kinda just vanish. And recent comic storylines prove my point. Peter once became more profitable than Tony Stark, and built a Billion Dollar Company in the span of like a year. The kids a genius. He just needed some help.

One of the best things in fiction for me is when a villain says his tragic backstory and how society ruined them only for the hero to speak how much Mr. Goody Two Shoes life is much much worse and the hero is still optimistic albeit damaged. Making the villain paused in reconsideration.

No, no. The Joker was certainly broken before meeting Parker. He just made the Joker realize *why* he's broken; namely, the Joker is rather fragile emotionally. He didn't point it out by punching him like Bruce, or laughing at him like Terry. He made his point by simply living.

I think the most happy I have seen spiderman with no other issues was when spiderman beat the kingpin in poker and used the kingpins own money to buy MJ flowers while laughing maniacally

You know your life sucks when you have the joker questioning his choices

Later, Batman hires Peter at Wayne Enterprises, gives him a six-figure salary and a _"you can disappear from work in the middle of the day for however long you need, no questions asked"_ attendance policy.

It do be like that, Spiderman has a pretty bad life comparatively to Gothamite heroes & villains

ell, most of the Batfamily also have their traumas at Peter's level, some died and came back which is almost all of them, others were trained by assassins who only saw them as weapons and deprived them of happiness, others were orphaned at such a young age which is also almost all of them and one was disabled for life just to prove a point.

@@cristopherarcosgallardo5648 Most of the bat family also get to (usually) be happy and comfortable. Most of the Robins go on to form their own teams that become like families to them, and Batman always has people who adore and support him even though he often doesn't exactly deserve it. Even a lot of the heroes and villains in Gotham are... honestly kind of nice to each other, assuming they aren't actively at odds over something. Barring Batman, a lot of the big Gotham players are actually on a first name basis. Peter Parker, in comparison, is often completely isolated and hated by many. He struggles to maintain any meaningful relationships in his life even more than Batman does, and he gets a lot more bad press for a lot longer than Batman ever does.

Spidey just has to mention that time when Paul or that time when the once dead Norman (Green Goblin) revives just to give Peter extreme emotional trauma by claiming that Gwen had an affair with Norman and gave birth to Normans twins.

I like how Batman originally popped up with intent to stop the joker in a kick ass battle, but stopped and just watched silently as Joker and Spiderman shared a truly heartfelt moment.

Jesus Christ, Peter’s life is so fucked Joker can literally do nothing to ruin it. It just made him want to comfort him, DEAR GOD!😂

Joker could never get a single fucking finger into Spidey's psyche. He's been through ten times the shit than either he or Bats have ever touched and he's still _plenty_ more than intact enough to be able to heckle him into a McGinnis-level frenzy. Much like Heinz Doofenshmirtz, Peter is the abject antithesis of Joker's philosophy.

Joker doing the most iinhumane shit to try anď break Spidey Peter: Someone already did that before. Multiple times, actually.

Joker: All it takes os one bad day. Spider-Man: I was given one more day.

Spider-Man is the perfect Antithesis to Joker’s “One Bad Day” philosophy and I love it

And the moral of the story is: New Yorkers are build different

I'm sure it's been done, but I wonder what a genuinely changed Joker would be like. Seeing Spiderman (or someone in DC equally unfortunate) as proof that one bad day isn't the end, just trying to be better. Struggling as he wrangles reflexive violent results and his bad reputation. "I just can't laugh any more, I know a guy who has it worse."

White Knight is a storyline that follows the path of 'what if the joker was cured' question. Mind you it does reset their whole schtick by the end. But the beginning of it shows the premise pretty damn well (and he isn't faking it). The problem is the drug that keeps him sane doesn't have a constant supply or some crap and he starts to slip.

And this is why Spuder man wears a mask, not his costume but the jokes and witty off the cuff one liners. He hides the pain with the mask of the fool.

Any fight between. Spiderman and Joker would probably end the same way the fight between Batman Beyond and Joker ended. With Spidey laughing in Joker's face and throwing trash talk right back at him. Max Landis said it best. Spiderman's villains must hate him because he mocks them as he breaks their bones. Spidey runs his mouth as he runs circles around bad guys who are almost never as smart as him. Joker would lose his shit almost immediately.

And to think, depending on how you look at it, Peter’s most frequent nemesis can be seen as a cross between the Joker himself and Lex Luthor.

The difference between Peter and the Joker isn’t what happened for that day. It’s what they took from that day and the lessons that came from it.

The sheer look of confusion on Batman's face as Joker is the cherry on top. Also i feel like Joker is just gonna toss this confused young adult man into Bruce's arm like, "Here Batsy this one needs SERIOUS HELP and that's coming from ME of all people. Now if you'll excuse me... I need to rethink my everything." (Walks away with million mile long stare)

The Joker: "One bad day, that's how far the world is from where I am, just one bad day." Spiderman: "Just one big regret, that's how far the world is from where I am, just one big regret."

Personally i think Joker would still attack the city, just with the goal of making the lives of Spidey's villains a living hell for a bit.

And this is why Joker can never be a Spider-Man villain. Like how can you mentally break a hero who is already (and continues to be) broken?

And besides the hero can beat him up if he doesn't have a backup plan, since he possesses strength, speed, agility, reflexes and resistance beyond the human due to his powers, he knows how to mock his enemies so that they lower their guard and poor the Joker when he makes Peter mad.

@@cristopherarcosgallardo5648 All that doesn’t really matter (especially as Spider-Man have villains in his rogue gallery that are as insane as Joker); the thing with Joker’s methodology for heroes he face is to basically break their spirit and bring them down to his level. That is the secret to why Spider-Man/Peter Parker will never be a foe: he’s ALWAYS at Joker’s level of low . . . perhaps even lower. And there is just no way he could have fun against a hero who is psychologically put through the worst traumas on a daily basis and somehow still continues as one. As the video point out, Spider-Man is literally the counterthesis to Joker’s whole “One Bad Day” philosophy

And that was the day the joker turned his life around. Saving countless lives that will never know Spiderman saved them.

I imagine a fight between Spider Man and Joker would go down like Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, except with Spidey mocking the Joker for a lack of powers "You make me laugh, only because I think you're kinda pathetic"

This concept could literally work in both universes it may be obvious, but can you imagine joker retiring his villainy after knowing a citizen in gotham while he torture him(similar to that) and it's even inspiring in the spidey's verse, now you fill the gap.

There are 3 ways a fight with spiderman would go for joker: 1. Spider-Man beats him like Terry did, freak him out and scare the shit out of him 2. Just straight up one shot him, like Superior did to Scorpion but less brutal 3. This.

I like to imagine something like this happening, except after Spidey beat him. Spiderman swings down to the police station to personally bring Joker in, and as they're traveling- SM: "You're going away, Joker!" J: "Oh trust me, I've gotten out of prison _many_ times- heheheh...and when I do next time...HAHAHA- YOUR WIFE, YOUR CHILD- YOUR _FRIENDS-...!!!"_ SM: "Don't have one, unborn, and they all hate me now." J: "..." SM: "..." J: "...Family...?" SM: "Dead. ...unless I have any left that I don't know about. If so, they're in no rush to contact me, even when I've lost everything. So, they may as well not be family." J: "..." [Silent] SM: "...What's the matter? No more threats? No more jokes? No more _laughs?"_ J: "...I-..." [They land at near the entrance of the station, where Batman is already waiting] BM: "Thank you, Spider-Man. I'll take it from-" J: "It's just...not funny anymore..." [Is visibly depressed] BM: "...Spider-Man." SM: "Aside from the standard beatdown, I didn't do anything." BM: "I know. I can tell you're a hero." SM: "Well...gee, thanks! Feel free to tell The Avengers that..." BM: "Before I go, I have one question." SM: "...yeah?" BM: "I can't speak for The Avengers, but...have you heard of The Justice League?" DC, Marvel, I'll take my appropraite compensation whenever you're ready.

Fun fact: There’s actually a cross over comic from the 70’s(?) where Spiderman and Superman just casually exist in the same universe. To the point where both are familiar with each others superhero identities and work in the news industry. Superman is even wary of Spidey as he is familiar with J Jonah Jameson and trusts his work (keep in mind JJ is only crazy when it comes to Spiderman). So in that comic this could absolutely happen. And yes they’d probably be at least somewhat familiar with each other.

In the 90's Marvel and DC did a huge crossover event and Peter ended up in Metropolis. Peter and Clark rubbed each other a little wrong. Superman also was surprised at Spider-Man and just how EFFECTIVE he was.

Imagine if spiderman did decide to just end his own suffering and off himself marvel would have to find a new punching bag.

This is kinda what i've always thought. You don't need a Shrink or a Therapist to help you get through sh*t, you need someone with similar, same, or Worse experiences to get you through it/help you, a Shrink/Therapist is only Educated, someone who has gone Through it is Experienced. That's how i've talked people/friends out of self harm or wanting to die, cause they're talking to a seasoned veteran.
