The most frustrating part for me in this is her trying to pretend like she's the first queer artist to produce queer oriented music. Teaghan and Sara helped to make that years ago. Fletcher is becoming one of the most well-known lesbian artists around. Girl in red, King Princess, PeachPRC, Hayley Kiyoko. It's like she is acting so self-obsessed that she is completely neglecting to acknowledge that there have been so many artists before her that have basically made it possible for her music to even be seen as an LGBT artist. It's so frustrating. LGBT artists have existed for centuries. She isn't some sort of visionary because she posted a song about her ex while kissing a girl in the music video. I'm waiting for other queer artists to speak up about it, honestly.
