Jojo cannot admit that Colleen befriending her at 12 was inappropriate because it will cause her to also evaluate the fact that her mother was exploiting her since she was a little girl.

Yeah I'm not sure that "I've known her since I was 12" is the best defense for someone accused of inappropriate interactions with kids.

Can't wait to hear what Jojo says in about 10 years when reality starts to hit her about all of the older people in her life who interacted and had large impacts on her during her childhood. Will she still sing the same tune about Colleen when she's her age?

It's hard to point fingers at Jojo when she herself is clearly currently a victim of inappropriate relationships and grooming. I feel like she's been so brainwashed that of course she's going to defend the predators in her life. I just hope she can someday break out of it all and come to terms with what her "friends" truly are.

Someone like Jo Jo defending Colleen this way scares me. She is walking proof of Colleen’s grooming. She doesn’t even realize how this all sounded.

I think this was Colleen’s ‘temp check’ to see how the public would react. Basically testing the waters/soft-launching herself via Jojo.

Jojo referred to adults in her life, such as producers while she was a child, as friends. I don't think she knows the boundaries herself.

Truthfully, Jojo is the worst conceivable person to talk openly in defense of Colleen. She has been exploited and groomed by adults (non s3xually) her entire childhood, how can she defend it when she’s lived in it her whole life and basically knows nothing more than being a child working with adults to make money off of her? She was raised to believe that it is normal to harbour relationships with people much older than you or much younger, that the line separating >12 year olds and <30yos is either blurred or made up. She can’t see the issue because she’s neck deep in it herself and you can see the forest for the trees when you’re lot in it

It’s weird because tbh, jojo is arguably a victim herself who has yet to process it. Her mother exploited her for yearssss and had her hanging out with all these grown adults when she wasn’t even a teenager. Come on, we all know there were some sickos who watched dance moms….Jojo was as young as 12 and her mom was promoting her hanging out with a bunch of adults. And now Jojo is an adult she’s still catering to children and hanging out with some of the biggest predators online….it’s like the cycle repeats itself. I wouldn’t even be shocked if one day people start making similar accusations about her.

I really appreciate how Ethan surrounds himself with people that help him instead of yes men. That’s a solid way to both conduct yourself and hold yourself accountable, and a good career move.

I'm 29 and my step daughter is 12. I can't imagine showing her pornography and talking trash about the person's body. I can't imagine sending her lacy underwear as a joke. I can't imagine having a group chat with her and her friends. I can't imagine spreading her legs in front of a crowd, having her friends grab snacks from inside my pants, and making jokes about being molested by my uncle.

A 30 year old shouldn’t be friends with a kid. Even if they are working together, doing skits, tv shows, whatever. If Colleen wasn’t such a fcking weirdo she’d have been friends with this kids mother. She shouldn’t have anything in common with a child. It’s so bizarre.

I agree with Dan. I don't think Jojo has fully realized how inappropriate these interactions are. She grew up in this kind of environment. The fact that she's been involved with people like Colleen and James only seems to further prove she's been a victim to grooming. It's sad but hopefully, one day, she'll understand.

It’s getting so old Colleen and her defenders calling everything “lies.” There’s proof of a lot of what’s been said. And honestly, the picture of Colleen with a child’s hand down her pants should be plenty of evidence for people to say okay, this is not okay behavior.
