To think that the very first fight in all of JoJo was basically just between two kids throwing fists at eachother. No hamon. No stands. No vampiric blood. Just two ordinary humans forever destined to fight each other. And despite that it would be a conflict that would endear over generations, and even across dimensions, and with powers capable of bending time and space itself. Truly an epic battle like no other.

Nothing sad about it.. Everyone are still the same and all characters that died in part 6 got revived (yes even foo fighters but as a plankton) that only difference here is their names like Jolyne --> Irene and others.. and Pucci no longer exists.. so Jolyne won Even araki confirmed it and said that Jolyne is still the same in her Irene Body so is everyone who died which means Jotaro got revived Weather report got revived Annasui got revived Hermes got revived Foo fighters got revived (as a plankton) Same personality along with a different name. Conclusion: That’s a happy, since Jotaro now can stay with his family without being separated

Jonathan Joestar is a really good character in my opinion. Easily one of my favorites. He’s got a big heart, he always thinks about others, he fights for what’s right, and he won’t give up no matter the cost. He’s an underrated character in JJBA and I think the main reason people don’t like him is because the fandom tells them to.

Jonathan's theme is the definition of courage, strength, *honor,* sheer will and determination to keep on fighting, no matter how difficult may the path that life has chosen for you may be, for the sake of justice. No matter the difficulties you may encounter or how hurt you may become, the losses you will suffer, you must keep moving forward, for the sake of others. That's why he's the most honorable Joestar of his bloodline, because he never gave up on his will for justice. He brought *HOPE* to the world with his sacrifice, a hope that fulfilled it's purpose, 100 years later, through his great-grandson, Jotaro Kujo. He had no stands, no smart wits or the favors of luck. Only his hamon ability and his noble mindset to defeat DIO. And that's why, in spirit, *he was the most powerful Jojo to ever exist.*

I have a theory that, since Jonathan started the tradition of Joestars being evil-slaying badasses, some of it can be attributed to the “Luck” and “Pluck” given to him by Blueford in his final moments... think about how many times Joseph’s luck saved him in his fights against Wammu and Kars, or how luck saved the Stardust Crusaders from Stands like Death 13 (Kakyoin just happened to be knocked unconscious with Heirophant so he could bring his stand into the dream) or that Star Platinum just happened to be the same stand type as Dio’s? Hell, it was a lucky break that both stopped Kira’s Bites The Dust and killed him off. I think that the Joestars have been blessed by luck in their battles by Blueford from above (I mean, Jonathan and George didn’t get a happy ending, but they’re exceptions, not the standard)

Jonathan is the Superman of JJBA. Not in terms of power but in his view on life. You can call him boring all you want but in the end what makes him interesting is how positive he is in spite of the troubles of the world. After all the pain dio brought to his life he still forgave him and still remained the kind hearted soul he was. Bro is the pinnacle of masculinity and the “I have no enemies” philosophy

Only having nine episodes, it was a great journey and I so wanted to see him with Erina where they grow old. I initially thought each season will be a different story but I was so wrong :,(. I can’t imagine how Dio took his body, it was an absolute violation. Repulsive loser.

The guy who made this AMV did an outstanding job, especially since he edited two songs together for it, and it really works. I just realized that most JoJo themes have their motifs playing frequently throughout the song, and have their iconic part at the end. Jonathan's theme, though, rarely uses his motif until the end, but once it does it keeps building. I feel that this reflects the fact that he never wavers. No matter how much adversity he endures, once he sets his mind on something he'll never stop until he achieves his goals.

Jonathan is like a symbol. A symbol of greatness. A symbol of justice. A symbol of sacrifice. A symbol of bravery. A symbol that inspires his descendants to follow his legacy. He is our true JOJO.

Whenever you are talking about Jojo's. Remember that it was Jonathan the legendary man that started this Bizarre Adventure.

Jonathan is my favorite jojo. We see the most of his life, from a baby to his death. Sure he’s not a trickster like Joseph, sure he’s not a thug like jotaro or someone more morally grey like josuke. He’s a good guy who’s considered boring because he doesnt have some darkness to him, he’s a gentleman through and through. Jonathan made the best of everyone come through; take speedwagon for example. Speedwagon and dio were in the same position, except dio tried to succeed by hurting others but Jonathan sparing speedwagon showed him to believe in others and help them all they could. Dio died basically twice while speedwagon lives a happy life and his organization helped the joestar until the end, that was a change that only happened because of Jonathan’s shining heart. A good character isn’t one with the complexity of “are they good or bad”, a good character is one who does what they were made to do, which until his final breath he did just that. Even after killing so many people Jonathan hated what dio did, but as his brother he could never truly hate the man who ruined his life in every way.

I always remember, that JJBA has one of the greatest ironies in anime. Because behind the EXTREMELY noticeable facade of happy-go-lucky times many people experience in JJBA, this anime at it's core is a tragedy. And that aspect of the show is so strongly emphasized in Jonathan's arc. Because Araki also didn't fail to show us the happy life the Joestar family could have had, if Dio didn't exist. JJBA has many many instances of things that could have been, where events or lives could have turned out better if it weren't for this certain character or event that came into play. I had a feeling that that's also why I felt like I could resonate with the show so well. JJBA represents a possible life that you, the reader or many people are living right now. Not the vampires, Aztec body builders, stands or stone masks, but where things could have turned out better for you, but they never did. Terrible things happened and people lost their happiness or even lives over things that didnt deserve to happen to them. But to me the every character of Jojo also chose to move on, despite the mistakes, despite the injustices, despite the consequences of people's actions. It doesn't matter if you're an honorable gentleman, stupid genius, brooding edgelord, brash teenager, young mafia boss, public masturbator, cripple, or four-balled amnesiac. Things happen that are completely out of control and it doesnt matter who you are, or whether or not people think you deserve this or that. Life is shit. Life happens. But guess what, all 8 Jojos moved forward. You should too. And that's what matters. You tread onward and never look back. And this is why Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, is a reference to life. Absolutely. I remember Araki describing JoJo as an ode to humanity... in many ways, he was right.

Johnathan is the real Jojo

He dies smiling, holding his closest friend and most reviled enemy in one while he does so. People who don't like Jonathan are just wrong, man.

@@patrickdees5256 Araki is the writer so I do not expect him to have the same view as the reader who experiences the story. I mean in my case I love Jonathan and the 5 following JoJos, yet I cannot stand Johnny as a character... XD

@@saidi7975 Johnny is a fuking legend tho, he looks more like a jerk in the beginning, but he had a rly sad past, cant blame him, his good-bad personality makes him the most rational jojo, just look at his interactions with diego, he treated diego like trash, he knew from beginning that diego is evil and he always was ready to deal with him. In term of personality jhonny is almost as greedy as dio/diego, maybe this is why some people dont like him.But he had the perfect personality for his role, without his greed, he would not be able to become so powerfull and to stop valentine, I mean the dude shot himself in head for a little more power. What I dont like about johny is that he becomed extremely powerfull in the end, the infinity spin is a little to much, but nvn.

Parts 1 through 5 are the best. Even though parts 6 through 8 are good too, it feels like Araki is extending the series a little too much
