This is nice. I bought my container from Wuwi Shipping Container, its cheap for a 40ft HC Cargo Worthy. I even paid it upon delivery. I am planning to build a cozy container home

Do not do what he did. The roof will sag and pool rain water and leak. This big of a span cut out can be strengthened with posts and a horizontal beam to keep roof level at the joint. Flat roof can be done with foam to fill the 2 inch jap and glue down strip of rubber. Turn buckle style connectors used in transit can keep them together. Floor can be flat at the joining interior edge and welded together with strap metal 1/8x4 inch to fill gap and connect two boxes. I have done these steps and successful.

Hasn’t moved at all. Agreed if you cut the whole side out but this smaller span hasn’t moved. Interested to see yours 👍
