Shallan’s recovery was amazing. I honestly did not think she would be able to live in the wild again. I am so happy I was wrong. Within minutes she was with members of her troop where she can live the rest of her life. Thank you, the entire team, for everything you put into her care and well-being. The orphans that come to you are in loving hands and are lucky to have the chance of a normal troop life. While it breaks my heart to see so many every year the only place better than with you is with their mom. You guys are the best.

I have told them, Dave, Kyle(from back in the day!!! Love & miss ya, Kyle!) Josie & the rest of the Earth Angels at the VMF, the same exact thing! I think that it's funny when ppl from other places find animals that are from my part of the world, like SQUIRRELS!! And deer... Or skunk n raccoon... I suppose it's the same thing as how I feel about them having monkeys, bush babies, caracal and such beautiful animals in their backyard!!!

After some water and a little milk in his tummy, then on to the lady that holds him close. He becomes calm, that's probably the first time he felt safe enough to rest his little mind and get a tiny nap after his trauma. I love you all. You are so aware of his need for kindness and being treated with a gentle hand. I wish I could go there and help.

Excuse me but you are the ones who are trespassing and should leave them alone, let them enjoy their lives.
