I can't wait for the scenes in the armory. THe "Do you like it? THen have it all" AND when Xie Lian stops Lang Qianqiu and Hua Cheng from fighting and wrecks his own arm in the process then sets everything on fire. AHhhhh the animation is going to be beautiful!

@@purpley_d808 Wasn't there an issue regarding one of the voice actors that prevented it from being released? (That, and the apparent crackdown on BL creations - the theme is much more apparent in HOB than in GDC, so that's an added problem. In GDC it was not a "make or break the storyline", but in HOB it's kind of a crucial aspect.)

@@yoruichisan19 Not only it was one of the voice actors, it WAS Xie Lian's voice actor himself. D: He got accused of embezzlement, so yeah, dunno if the donghua was gonna be released this year. Hope so. Yeah, heard the BL censorship was worse around the making of HOB, so that's why the spicy scenes are very light supposedly. Honestly, this kind of censorship is one of the worst ones.

I love how each time I rewatch this, I catch more details I didn't notice previously. At 1:17, you can totally see Fafa manspreading shamelessly and looking bored with his un-life, where as soon as he knows his Gege is there he straightens his back immediately. Also, Hua Cheng looks so incredibly nervous. He looks down and then back up, and his expression totally changes. I feel like he looks somewhat ashamed of himself, and the reaction he has seems to be like one of defeat since he's so sure Xie Lian is gonna find him hideous. ;_; He's so nervous of Xie Lian's reaction to his true appearance, and I really love how the donghua really makes his insecurities show. Even though he's one of the strongest beings in all realms, he's still incredibly insecure when it comes to being worthy of Xie Lian's favor. Seeing the transition from his idol complex to having a real relationship with Xie Lian animated is going to be so wonderful to watch.

I love how amazing the animation team is at taking parallel scenes and juxtaposing them so well. We saw this a lot in S1 with Hua Cheng's backstory and his present interactions with Xie Lian, now we're getting the same in the trailer, with Xie Lian at the foot of the Emperor's throne vs Hua Cheng's throne, and how different the atmosphere is in the Heaven's Capital City compared to Ghost City. Such a smart and thoughtful approach

The first time I saw the trailer, I just wanted to screammmmmmm. Jun Wu has such a deep voice, San Lang's intro as Ghost King and overall what a well made trailer. Can't Wait!!! Best part of the trailer are the clinking of HC's boot-bells and Xie Lian saying San Lang in that low breathy voice Sighhhh.

i miss them so much please bring them they are the reason for my mental stability

La música, los efectos de sonido, ángulos y enfoques en la animación, los colores y el estilo de dibujo, todo hace que la historia sea transmitida con las emociones adecuadas. Amando la novela, me hace feliz el trabajo que hicieron con la animación desde la primera temporada. Espero con ansias la segunda!!!
