All of us are on xbox and we still can't join each other.

Ok, got it fixed. I had to yell at my friends a bit lol. I had them restart their xbox's. They thought just because they're able to play the game that they don't have to update anything. When they restarted their console, an update prompted and then they finished the update. No more different version message.

We’ve tried. Both of us have done everything under the sun to update everything. He’s on ps4 and I’m on PC. It STILL gives us this error even though we can join in solo lobbies just fine. Then it says “purchase modern warfare 2 to have access to everything” when we both have it. Activision really needs to get their shit together.
