The other one to find is Joe Wilkinson on Catsdown reading his poem. Especially nice this last month as it shows Sean Lock absolutely losing it. 😊 But Vegas regularly cracks this lot up. Love it.

Johnny just comes across as that guy in a pub who does drunken dares for another pint, and then bares his soul out when he's had too much to drink. It's kind of funny, but in a slightly tragic way.

To be fair, its a bit tricky with johnny vegas- let him talk, and he'll steal the show. Don't let him talk, and he'll still steal the show, but he'll set fire to it and dump it in a bin on the way out. Either way, everyone's a winner 😂

Ashley Feawen what you/we get to see is edited. A lot of the interviews/banter gets chopped because of time restraints (we have a show here called 7 Days and they only air about 1/8th of what is recorded).

I like Johnny Vegas he is from my home town St.Helens I've had a few beers with him and my girlfriend in the red v café bar after we beat Warrington Wolves in 2019

Saw him at Buzzcocks and had a beer afterwards, two blokes in middle of London chatting about St Helen’s and Paul Sculthorpe. Really lovely, gentle guy, and wonderfully funny.

Like Robin Williams he’s often hilariously funny to watch but an absolute pain in the arse if you’re trying to make a live television show. No one else gets a chance to talk and if they don’t appear to be laughing they come across as uptight and jealous. Be interesting to see Jonny put alongside Peter Kaye who has a similar act for live television. I bet one of them would refuse to appear because they couldn’t both be the centre of attention.

I was too busy admiring Sara's delightful thighs to be listening to Mr Vegas.

His comedic ability outweighs the rest of them put together, it's generally a piss poor show anyway and how the one legged Aussie got a gig anywhere is beyond me.
