Mr. Alan, I sure am happy you acquired and are now building Johnny's lures. I remember back to before John offered these formulas to the public and the day, he sent some home with me to use and report back to him. On the way out the door leaving his home that day he advised me to put the "Bad Medicine" in the trunk of my car or I would surely catch hell from the wife the next time she got in. Well, I heeded ole John's advice, but I didn't get far from his place when I started to smell it up front in the car and yes, he was right, I caught hell from the wife the next day when she got in the car. That fall I used the " Bad Medicine", "Red Vixen", "Muskcall", and "Mink Eliminator" that he gave me on my southern Adirondack traplines. I had great luck with the "Bad Medicine" and "Red Vixen" and did quite well on fisher, fox, coyote and bobcat with them. I sent Johnny some pictures of some of the catches and was surprised to see a couple pinned up in his fur shed and one of the photo's had been used in an ad for his lures in the "Trappers Post". I have a copy of the picture from the ad as my facebook background picture. Hope to see you at the NYS convention. P.S. If folks squalk about the price of the lure they should know that a 1 ounce jar is good for about 50 - 55 sets if used the way Johnny intended and suggested it be used.

Where did that first batch of bottles come from original Thorpes or is somebody making your lure

@@mikeslear6291 We are making all the lures. The base for the first couple came from the previous owner who we purchased them from. We then worked with some ingredients to enhance them to match our Original Johnny samples. Everything is being made exclusively by us at North American Trapper.
