Lousy camera positioning and chauvinistic, thoughtless direction by whoever oversaw the filming.

The harmonies & high, plaintive notes from the young woman absolutely made this beautiful song.

Lillie Flynn is one of the best backup singers ever, both for JF and Noah & the Whales, and is also an accomplished stage musical actress. It was nice of MM to say in an interview at this concert that Johnny Flynn is is favorite songwriter of all time. Mine too~~~

I'd much rather see Johnny than Marcus any day. And Lilly deserves mad respect. She gives up a lot of her time and effort to sing with her brother Johnny, and has a lovely voice.

So where is the face of this wonderful lady singer. The most beautiful harmonies l have heard.

I've come to watch this video once a day for something like a month. It's heartbreaking. I love so much this song, it takes away any fear of death.

I love this song! But the video leaves me with a feeling of frustration for not being able to see the lead singer of this song (I mean she has the main melody after all!). I can't understand how the cameraman decided not to film her, not even for a moment!

I got this recommendation from an American friend who knows I like Southern music. This is a fine example of one of its roots. The particularly touching love of the land & chord structure makes it special & the man / woman harmonies turn it to sublime.

The way this is filmed = summer in a video **So thankful for this while we can't all gather together right now**

There are older YT videos of brother and sister singing together, but this is Johnny's vevo channel, not Lillie's... so no Lillie :-)

Just came across these people when I was looking at some Terrence Malick and Townes Van Zandt. Why is the female never shown? Her voice makes this song. It's a great song, but her contribution is totally overlooked. They show his new bandmate, and they show other band members, and they show the new bandmate singing his part, but they only show her back a few times, and that is just not right. It is such a lovely song, but I can't understand the videographers/filmmakers.
