Although if memory serves, Barnesy is Scottish, so not strictly 100% Aussie either haha; Bon Scott too.... Scottish people must really love coming to live in a country where the sun actually has a chance of shining more than one or two times a year....

He was the lead singer/guitarist for a band called Johnny Diesel and the Injectors back in the 80s/early 90s. Had a great solo career and played guitar on many tracks for his little known 😉 brother-in-law Jimmy Barnes and great mate the wonderful John Farnham 👌❤ If you google on KZread When something is wrong with my baby by Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham you will see him playing in the background. He also played on Jimmy Barnes and Tina Turner's rendition of Simply the best. My other 2 favs of Diesel are Miss your water and Tip of my tongue.

It should be...that's the standard English usage....but this way it's a pun...two meanings, one phrase....

The title says 'Cry In Shame', but he sings "cryin' shame'. Sounds like two different things to me. But cool tune though.
