@@lizard.4266 Yeah, Johnny is a method actor, similar to the way Jared Leto worked when playing the Joker in Suicide Squad. They stay in character both on and off-screen, it really helps with more in depth and intense characters.

Irreplaceable? Dream on. James Bond carried on without Sean Connery. No such thing as irrreplaceable in Hollywood. Plenty of great actors that can do a great Jack Sparrow. The audience is invested in the character and NOT the actor.

It'd be like someone else other than RDJ doing Iron Man. Certain actors are just made for the role they were in and any one else would just be lacking in comparison.

I sincerely think they won't replace him. If anything, they will recast him for the rol or just get rid of the character completely. Disney may know by now that if they get another actor to play Captain Jack Sparrow, they'll condemn the saga. I hope they go for the fisrt option here, because Pirates of the Caribbean withour Captain Jack is fairly pointless imo.

His public image already has changed and more people is supporting him and wanting him to come back, so I'd say we have to wait some time to see if he really moves on or he'll come back as Captain Jack someday. Anyways, yeah, fuck Disney haha

Even funnier, the Jar of Dirt scene was not intended to be improv originally. Depp actually tripped and fell, saving the jar, and just rolled with it. You can tell there's confusion because during the "jar of dirt" line, Bloom is looking straight into the camera, almost as if he isn't sure if they should still be going on with the take, lol.

He literally carried pirates of the Caribbean, the other actors were great too but if someone mentions pirates of the Caribbean, most people immediately think of Johnny Depp, when people talk abt him himself people typically think of the role of Jack sparrow. If someone asked me to describe or draw a pirates id draw his character. He just played the role so perfectly and its like he shaped the character himself to resemble himself which gave it even greater depth and even better to watch. He's just amazing, no one else will ever be able to compete with what he did with thay character, no matter how good of an actor they are

Working with him must be such a joy. Even his bloopers are great. And you can see how much pleasure he gets from acting too. He is worth every penny, late on set or not.

He just stays in character when on set and it’s hilarious. Even his voice. He is a true great actor.
