I don't quite agree.. Freddie's character in Finding Neverland was a troubled child who certainly wasn't nice to everyone. Ditto for one of the twins in Spiderwick Chronicles. And Norman Bates, oddly, did have a sweet and innocent side to him, in his early characterization - things went downhill later, when his dissociative disorder took over. There's plenty of complexity in Freddie's roles.

The fact that anyone could buy Amber’s B.S. accusing Johnny Depp of being abusive/ violent is just sickening.. All the evidence as far as all Johnny has done proves he’s one of the world’s nicest people!

How sweet!! They keep complimenting each other!! Mutual admiration and respect!! I like how Freddie pointed out that Johnny was so into character that it helped Freddie get into HIS character. That’s true professionalism on Johnny’s part! He must be phenomenal to work with for other actors! God bless him! ❤️

JD was about 42 here...gorgeous man. Years later Freddie would describe JD as a great actor, a great man and a good friend. Disney did him a huge disservice by jumping too quickly without giving him a chance to defend himself. I hope they send him a big apology, same to The Sun Newspaper - they owe JD a big front page when he wins his case against AH. This man did not deserve all that woman put him through. He may never work for Disney again however I hope he jumps in with Netflix, and Amazon and others....I really wanted him on the Marvel Universe though.....Me: I am actually closer to his age than Amber.....some of us still have a chance.

Johnny depp stopped watching the 1971 film when he got the part of Wonka because he wanted to play Wonka in a different way than Gene Wilder because he didn't want Gene to be pissed off at him. Even though Gene hated the 2005 film, he still likes Johnny.

Johnny’s the best propping him up in the manner he did. Perfection.

Oh My! Freddie Highmore! What a truly intelligent and genuine kid he is! As someone else commented, if Freddie Highmore says Johnny Depp is a nice guy, I believe it! I bet they had all kinds of fun on the set of this movie. What great memeories for both.

Hah yes--David is just my all time favorite individual male musician because of his brilliant, kind and creative mind. There is a pool of dramatic iconic thought provoking modern talent--Bowie, Depp is in there along w/ all the Beatles, Mick, Bono, Petty...

they play this movie at my high school after we finished a test back in 2007. and everybody love it, we were so excited watching it like if we were little kids again, we were laughing and just enjoying ourselves. days before they had been playing classic movies and I hated those that's why the memory of this movie has stayed with me.

Both have aged very beautifully. Beautiful soul these two.

Can you believe how AH caused Johnny to age so much since 9 years ago? Stress does that to anyone. And in Johnny’s case, all the heavy drugs and alcohol she caused him to take, also wreaked havoc on his face and body. Well, all that’s behind him now.
