Freddie Highmore Reflects On Filming 'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory' With Johnny Depp 15 Years Ago

Freddie Highmore has come a long way since his childhood fame! The "Good Doctor" actor recalled co-starring with Johnny Depp in 2005's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" while chatting with Access Daily's Mario Lopez and Scott Evans. Freddie explained, "Of course, you're aware of the wonderful opportunity that you're having and the great people that you're working with, but he never felt like a star, as such. He didn't behave like one." The London native also expressed excitement for his favorite soccer team Arsenal F.C. after receiving a special gift from the hosts! "The Good Doctor" airs Monday at 10 p.m. on ABC.

he is simply an amazing actor and incredible actor who has tried from fairy tales through psycho to drama! young and talented and a nice atracttive person, I can look at him and listen every day. ❤ I wish him all the best ! ❤

Freddie seems like a nice guy back then and now I grew up with Charlie and the chocolate factory and didn’t find out about the other one about 5 months ago and I really want to see the cast reunited
i love when kids and child actors act so mature for their ages like freddie is such an inflancial actor

Been binge watching Bates Motel for the duration of my quarantine. Had no idea this guy was a big part of my childhood as Charlie Puckett 😂
Freddie is the cutest of cuties, still as an adult, there is no doubt about it 😍😉
Can’t believe that and Finding Neverland was that long ago! He’s so grown up! Love The Good Doctor! Dr. Melendez was also on another of my favorite shows, Sleepy Hollow! Monday’s episode was depressing.

Even though Johnny Depp was and will be my favorite man in the world I still don't find it necessary to mention that Freddie worked with him like 15 years ago, I don't see the point.

I think it's since because those were the first notable jobs Freddie ever did in acting and he has said multiple times that he looked up to Johnny and learned a lot about acting and the industry in general from him since he never actually studied acting professionally. Johnny also has spoken very highly of Freddie in the past
