Thank you for putting the year this was on the air. I was 22 and was a devoted Carson fan thanks to my parents since I was in high school.

That’s pretty epic Itzhak Perlman practices the violin to Star Trek. Born in Tel Aviv both his parents were Jewish natives of Poland, he would later go on to contribute the main musical score for Schindlers List, among many other historic contributions. Still alive as of March 2023 🎻

I saw David Steinberg, twice, as the opening act for Dionne Warwick.

David Steinberg was on the Carson Show 130 times, second only to Bob Hope. It’s interesting he’s talking about sitcom brainstorming, that would be a huge part of his career in later life, everything from Golden Girls to Seinfeld

I just miss the light hearted, goofy jokes and great interviews. As for today's fare...meh.

I kinda understand unnatural fears.. I have a friend who has a fear of cats. She can't see a cat, or a picture of a cat without panicking.
