The 1995 Mortal Kombat movie is one of my all-time guilty pleasures and I still consider it to be one of the best video game adaptations when it comes to movies!
IMO, Johnny Cage played brilliantly by Linden Ashby is one of the best characters in the whole movie and I consider him to be the "Han Solo" character all throughout. His cheesy, machismo dialogue really still makes me laugh and groan at the same time! Here's a collection of his best moments in the movie.

It's one of the reasons why this movie still remains and all-time classic!
So many actors in this film gave awesome performances. Robin as Liu, Ashbey as Cage, Lambert as Raiden, Cory as Shang, Trevor as Kano, ect.

@@ekathe85 according to the internet Cameron Diaz was originally going to play as Sonia Blade in this Mortal Kombat 1995 movie but she got injured during a martial art training during the film so they replaced her

I like how johnnys not even mad at the fact that liu dropped his luggage in the water he’s just disappointed
I like this Johnny Cage who was better than the second one, I just hated how in Mortal Kombat annihilation killed him. Linden Ashby totally suits the character as Johnny Cage who would've been even good if he had a solo movie.

Linden Ashby saw the script and decided not to come back. I don't think his replacement would have made as good Johnny Cage.

1995 was indeed a special year! I graduated high school that year and felt free and off to the movies I went! That summer was a great one and this movie and Batman Forever (even though not that great) always will have a special place in my heart!
