Great movie from director John Sturges
Back when life and the world made sense to me, Today,,,Not at all !
Hard to believe, many millennials don’t know who John Wayne is.
Great movie. Seem it 40 times. Classic 70's Seattle mob scene.
Excellent cheers for posting. I love John Wayne movies. I believe I can see Al Lettieri at 3:13, sadly Al would die in 1975 not long after this movie and of course John in 1979. :(
I went and saw every John Wayne film the day it opened. I got to spend a day with him when he was filming a movie. He was very nice. I miss him like I miss my friend Frank Sinatra. I love John Wayne movies. I have 20 on blueray.
Big guy like how he is casually smoking his cigar.
I dig the music too in this
I’m surprized to see him smoking. A 5 pack a day habit must have been impossible to quit.
Thanks for sharing. Pretty cool scenes.

My father, Albert Teller was in this film-even contributed to the script regarding the order at the diner-my father had an ulcer and knew the character who had an ulcer would order differently. My mother was nearly in the film as well as she was being considered as an alternate if the favored actress wasn’t available.

Great information, thank you
I wish they would play exciting and fresh music like this on SiriusXM.
Is that really 8mm? Looks great. Looks more like 16mm. Is this digitally transferred? Wow. Nice post.

This film had an excellent score!
Thanks watching the movie now on TCM 😊the Duke driving a rare color 1973 Brewster green Trans Am SD-455 with NO bird on the hood 😊
Filmed some scenes in Aberdeen Washington
Nearly fifty years on, everyone in that film has attained unprecedented levels of deterioration, up to and including gruesome death. Cheers!
This looks so campy and stupid but I want to watch every second of it haha
How many packs a day did John Wayne smoke?
