After being separated from my husband for a year, thinking I didn't have any fight left, he felt the same. I heard this on my drive home tonight, and my heart came to a crashing halt. 20 years together is always worth another try. So I called him up and said, "Guess what I just heard on the radio?" His response, "I ain't missing you either, come home. " I'm going home tonight ❤️

I thought he would be gone for a while and be all sad. This kid got pushed to his limits, and he lost a lot of weight going to gym everyday . Got a job keeps going to college. TAKING care of me bonding with his mom. He goes and buys clothes every weekend. Met a new beautiful young lady. So I guess he's not missing her. Meanwhile she's out there saying that she moved on. Good for her because the kid took a midnight train to Georgia. I use to sit and cry for days. Those days are over..I'm 70 but still got a heart ❤️ I learned.

"Ace In The Whole " Struggle Jennings " A Thousand Years " Christina Perri "Open My Eyes " Buckcherry Those are just the first that came to my mind. There are more if people just have to listen for them and there are so many different genres to open our minds along with our already established heart & soul. I hope you find a way to broaden your mind along with adding to your music library. "MISSING YOU" by JOHN WAITE is one of my all time favorite songs.

This song was literally everywhere during the late summer and autumn of 1984 and it was on heavy rotation on MuchMusic (Canada's MTV). I was in the sixth grade that autumn and remember my school bus driver always had the radio on and this came on practically every morning. I have warm, fuzzy feelings and memories of hearing this song, bright, sunny, crisp autumn mornings, seeing fall foliage outside, on my way to school.

Aww... This must be so special to you then and I'm glad that you have this wonderful song to such fond memories. For I understand there's no better way to recall moments we hold dear to our hearts than thru good music. I have such a song that feels that way to me. It wasn't this one but just like you, I was on a bus in our field trip in my 5th grade. It was the first field trip I'm in that my mother didn't went with me and I liked the temporary independence and being just with my friends that time. It was a beautiful afternoon, we were driving by a countryside to our next itinerary and my classmates were tired by that time and the bus blessedly quiet, I was staring out of the window while listening to my walkman when the famous song popped in and never had it felt more special and personal. I always play it whenever I have a tough day, and get transported back to those peaceful memories. Amazing how music seems to stow away mementos of our life with it and could make us remember it just as vividly as though it was yesterday, feelings and all. 💚

"I hear your name, in certain circles, and it always makes me smile" That line has been following me round since the 90s, and I can still feel that aching pain in the bottom of my stomach to this day. Putting on a fake smile like I don't care, asking about him as if I don't care. Just that fraction of a second when your heart literally falls falls through your chest and you have to pretend you're fine. It's so funny how this song perfectly sums it all up.

This song came out when I was a sophomore in high school. At the end of the year I found out that my favorite classmate, on whom a had a total crush, would be moving out of town as his dad had taken a new job. I was heart-broken. I wanted to die. My desperate efforts to cling to him drove us apart. I have neither seen nor heard from him in decades and I still think of him(especially when I hear this song) and feel the ache.

Still listening in March of 2024. Did you that Mike Campbell, the lead guitarist of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, was instrumental in the making of this song? Tom didn't want it at the time because he was working on the very differently-paced album Southern Accents, so Mike offered the bones of the song to Henley, who added his own distinctive vocals. Later, Tom told Mike he should have taken the song and kept it for another album. Fascinating story!

There's a heart that's breaking.... And it's my heart that's working.... No matter what i might say...

I couldn't for years listen to this song, it hurt so bad 😞, this song said everything about my relationship with my ex. " In your world I have no meaning and Thought I'm trying understand" that rips into my heart every time hear this song!! Now she married to a Executive Account, and living her new life. I wish I hadn't made the choice I made them, I wish she was mine!!
