I remember watching this at the time. As a Chelsea & an England supporter for that year, it was such a proud moment.

john terry will be always remembered for this diving header and his display against barcelona in 2005, at least by me.

I absolutely can't stand Chelsea but this guy was my footballing idol when I was kid, I love defending like this.

I remember Terry trying to head the ball so desperately into the goal during a derby, he got kicked in the face by diaby, got a concussion woke up around 20 mins later and asked "did we win?" Absolute mad lad.

The shot that Glen Johnson blocked was 100% going in. David James had started diving the other way.

Captain leader winner legend. Coming from a Leeds fan.. him and Ashley Cole were arguably the 2 best in their positions for a 5 year period but cause of personal issues and media hate they never got the respect. Terry would walk into any team rn and make them better he was that good.

He is easily one of the greatest defenders of his era along with Vidic.

They are just jealous of not having the phone number of Bridge's girlfriend.

This happened only 3 years after getting booted in the face doing the same thing as well. Proper old school defender, with pure passion for the game. Never cared about getting hurt, so long as he could prevent a goal.
