Hearing Pat talking about the 12 days jabbing reminds me of the IVF cycle which I went through 13 years ago. I had the quantity but not quality, hence none of my eggs were fertilised. What's worse was i suffered very bad side effects from the medicine of jabbing and was literally "drowning" myself and admitted to A&E to drain off the fluid buildup in my lung. I believed mental stress of trying to get pregnant played a big part in me unable to conceive for many years. The moment I gave up hope of trying, I got pregnant within 3 months. The baby is really like "a god's gift"😊.

It is so good to hear more on this. Having kids or not is a choice. If partner is supportive, the change from a wife to mum will be easier. To Pat, I also think I want to strict with my kids to be more independent pre kids but after I had them. Will realized sometimes connecting the kids is more important.

Very good sharing. Journey to having a child is not just doing the “act” for some. The pressure of age, financial, housing and work related stress adds up. Then you have relatives/friends asking why no baby yet without knowing the bigger picture. Am very mindful when speaking to married couples. Process of IUI, IVF, sperm test etc doing the multiple runs to Gynaecologist takes a toll both financially and emotionally.

To be a parent is to expose yourself to a whole different level of vulnerability - i’ve been a parent for 15 years and there is never a time where i am not worried that something bad will happen to my child. But i would also like to believe that it has enabled me to be the best version of myself, for the child i brought into the world.

Fertility is such a common issue but not talked about in our society. Most infertile couples go through it quietly by themselves. My husband and I married for 3 years, experienced this disappointment and isolation for a long time. We did a few IUI before embarking on our first IVF which was successful. Pregnancy is another issue which extremely uncomfortable physically for women. Jiayou and enjoy the process.

Why can't we just let God be God" 💕 Thank you guys for sharing because I was tearing as i was watching it. Many people doesn't know what we're going through but it's so comforting to know we're not alone in this journey. I highly recommend people watching: Who Wants A Baby? (BB来了), a 2018 drama... for me it help to manage my expectations and handle my emotions. unaware to many, men can get post delivery depression as well, due to fatigue, after watching e show i really appreciate hubby alot. One very important reminder to all new parents: NEVER BLAME YOUR SPOUSE FOR WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR CHILD. This was my motto for the past 5 years. As parents we want the best for our child, we didnt "push" the kid to cause it to have a bump on e head, or a fall onto the ground when its learning to walk etc. it is POSSIBLE to not blame, i did it, it's not that hard. Be calm and enjoy the new bundle of joy.

Do not attempt to force anyone to be a father or mother, it will only do harm to their own kids, if you care about the well being of the kids and the impact of the kids lives in the long run. Parenthood should never be forced onto anyone, young old male female. Kids will know which parent/family members/relatives do not truly care about them, yes i handled many cases of kids therapy over the decades too.

Egg freezing is a good option to delaying the making the choice of kids, though do also consider whether you'll have the energy to look at little ones when you're older. Sure you'll have more money, and money can solve lots of problems, but will you have the energy to chase your toddler when they're just learning to cycle, or teach them a sport? And no, having pets isn't anything close to having kids. Probably if you have 5 puppies at once is perhaps equivalent and maybe that about puts your stress levels to the right level.

SG should also allow elective sperm freezing, especially since it's becoming more common for couples to have children at a later age. When a couple is unable to conceive, the issue doesn't always lie with the woman. As men age, the quality and quantity of their sperms degrade, and this may affect their fertility.

I think making baby requires a relax mind. Stress might be a cause on obstruction. When u r trying to make a baby as if it's a job it feels wrong though. Feels like you can't miss out the effort in setting up the atmosphere, building up the emotions. I believe a number of babies are made overseas too. Not sure if you guys are aware, tcm does help in womens problem too. Like regulating your period n all and supporting planned babies. I would think it's worth the try then to go through needles since it's not egg or sperm problem. Although pat mentioned that she is unsure. I think from the looks on her expressions it's a 100% yes though. It's just will u get it or not and should be able to live with both. I am sure we will see greater smiles from the couple if there is a accident baby. All the best! Believe in miracle! ❤ Maybe get some tips from xiao ming&wife? 😅

Having a child got to be a firm Yes from both parties. It takes alot of physical and more so mental fortitude to care for a young human being and moments of being a couple will be tested irregardless how tight your relationship was prior to the child’s arrival. Definitely not a straightforward task of checking off the list of Adulting.

I guess the question goes back to you. How impt is it for you to have your own kid? How sure is ur gf that she doesn't want to have a kid? Why is she saying no now? Does she not like a kid? Money concerns? Wrong phase in life to think about having a kid? It has to be based on a case by case basis, with the judgement of you understanding her as a person to make a decision. If it is a hard no from her that she don't like being around kids and can't stand kids while you love kid and can't live without one maybe take a break and consider to move on finding someone that truly want to have kid as a criteria before stepping in any r/s just to prevent u from wasting time with ppl having different goals in life. The age of your gf matters too. Which comes with maturity. How much do you love her, or what's the percentage of the match with your personality as your lifelong partner? Tbh, I don't think guys in the late 20s should be too worried. Unless there may be underlying medical condition. They say guys are like wine. Where the older the better while ladies are the opp. Just go as the flow and follow your heart, I would say. It depends on how strong is the love and which direction isit at. The key is to communicate with your partner to come to a conclusion.

If both of you have different goals in your life, one sees a future with his kids and the other doesn’t want kids. Then it’s better to part ways early and give yourself a chance to create a family with a likeminded partner. I have seen friends who parted ways after “the kids” arrived because one partner is not giving his/her all to becoming a parent. It’s sad but it’s reality. No matter how much you love each other in the beginning, love always takes a 2nd seat when it comes down to having a real family with kids. Not every man or woman are cut out to be a parent. I have a girlfriend who hates children and doesn’t have maternal instincts and she’s only truly happy with her single status.

Blunt truth hurts, Quality of sperm matters too, for 50% responsibility of making healthy children, how the father smoke drink partying drugs sleep quality underlying medical condition in the long run, affects his sperm quality as well, i work in hospital for decades, working closely with doctors and nurses, helping them and patients with admin paper work, you will be surprised to see A LOT of early 20s male having low sperm count and bad quality sperm during ivf, sadly this world is not educated enough of the health of the sperm. More than half of the time the cases i see are bad sperm quality causing unhealthy or failed pregnancy or children too. There are COUNTLESS cases of females in 40s 50s having their first kid WITHOUT ivf, immediately after their second marriages/husbands too. Yes all their first husbands were infertile and refuse to accept, make effort and changes for his own health or rather sperm quality. Yet just shift the blame to female and they lost great wives/partners. In hospital and clinics, We staffs really see a lot of types of man child, you would not want your female loved ones to marry and have kids with.🤷🏻‍♂️

Yet just shift the blame to female and they lost great wives/partners. In hospital and clinics, We staffs really see a lot of types of man child, you would not want your female loved ones to marry and have kids with.🤷🏻‍♂️

Hello. I’ve tried TCM too. Didn’t work. Next step will be IVF but will need some time to think about it. 😁
