Dawn, that's because he out shined her in one episode in 'Giving Away' the money that was twice($15M) what Oprah spent maximum($8M) in one of her shows with gift giving.

Anyone else really want john oliver to do a podcast. I could listen to him talk about the most mundane stuff and i would still be entertained.

He actually got his start on a podcast called The Bugle. He's on all the older ones before he got really famous.

I saw him riff for five minutes on stage at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center about the Big Chicken in Atlanta, completely off the cuff, and it was the funniest thing I've ever experienced in person. He was asking people in the audience about what is Atlanta's 'weird kitschy landmark' and he heard "Big Chicken" from the crowd, pulled out his phone, did a quick google and said, "Oh, holy fuck, Atlanta." Hilarity ensued.

Don't know why John said it makes no sense. It makes perfect sense in an absolutely literal and simple way. Last week's events being covered tonight. Last week - tonight. Simple and literal.

It's hilarious to see Jimmy being pressured to tell the truth when he always plays it safe 😂🤣

Sofia Venegas, I guess a combination of nothing better to do, being hooked on upvotes and very bland generic and safe sense of humor can convert a person into essentially a non paid KZread employee.

This was a really nice interview where Jimmy could be natural and, well, just hang out with his mate, John who I shall not praise less I never stop flooding him with platitudes of how great he is.

Honestly, I always knew he reminded me of someone, but it only hit me know, that he had been cast as Zazu in the Lion King. He is like how Zazu would be as a human. Wow. :D

Making audience laugh is a talent but making a comedian laugh is something much more impressive.. both John Oliver and Jimmy Fallon are brilliant! :D
