    Lol, “it can play up to a good club level”. Then they bring in GM John Nunn. We know what’s going to happen :)…. My mom bought me my first chess computer Christmas of 1981 when I was 13 (Fidelity’s Voice Sensory Chess Challenger) Aprx 1500 USCF (a good club player) That thing really helped me for a few years and I believe young players nowadays would benefit from playing these old machines as they were much more human in their design! Using Huristic Algorithms with very limited processing power they would make very human like mistakes and the higher levels took between 2 and 15 minutes to work out its best move selection (something very typical at the time, as our tournament games were 40 moves in 2 hours and another hour for the remaining moves. Games often went 5 or 6 hours but felt like 10 minutes!). Thanks for sharing this.
