I've always loved this stripped back version of the Frost* standard, it's so pared back it almost feels like a different song. It was a real privilege to hear it live, especially with Messrs Mitchell and Fielder on such fine form ✨
It was a very happy gigging experience altogether at the vibey Camden Club; as is always the case with a show by the gifted Reading singer songwriter, it was an evening filled with laughter, emotional honesty and beautifully performed classics from the Kino/Lonely Robot/Frost* repertoire, as well as songs which have inspired his career.
