Before moving to western North Carolina I was out for a morning ride on my Harley. I knew where he lived near Monroe reservoir. As I was passing John's driveway I seen him sitting on his bike at the end of his driveway. He waved as I rode bye. I have often wished I would have stopped and said hello. Usually celebrities don't want to deal with the public. I like Mr MELLENCAMP. ROCK ON JOHN.

I spent the day with Mellencamp when he came to my house to fix my phone in 1974. (And no... I'm not lying.) He hung out all day because I had a bunch of guitars laying around. I remember my mom coming home as he was leaving. She said, "He's a good looking young man."

man oh man!!! well you guys .....most of us grew up with this guy from mtv to the american music awards im 54 now and slowly we are watching our childhood heroes die all around us john is 70 yrs old in 2022 sad sad sad day it will be to hear about him passin on.... and just like clint eastwood i can feel it commin its like only a matter of time hearing about it. the band members of kiss... i can just feel it.

Overall a good video even though you repeat yourself numerous times. Or are you just a bot? Been a Mellencamp fan for decades ever since seeing him on American Bandstand back in the day performing 'Ain't Even Done With The Night.' The song has a cool, Motown-like vibe that caught my attention and I've followed his music ever since. One thing you might have emphasized is that he hated the "Johnny Cougar" moniker! It was the usual BS of some manager thinking the name Mellencamp wouldn't sell. (Keep in mind this was in the same era that Engelbert Humperdinck was at the top of the easy listening charts!) 😆😆 Also, why did you feel it necessary to include the pic of Megan Fox in the thumbnail. That was BS!

He probably makes some through streaming and a bulk in licensing for things like TV commercials and TV shows. Plus, all those stadiums and music players at bars have to pay too. I'd bet he gets over a 100k for concerts too.

My home in Madison was very similar to Seymour. A lot of great memories. In those days I used a stage name that many of your grandparents would remember. Never got the pleasure to meet or play music with John, but always liked his simplicity, relatable storylines, and old school get down rockin roll. Rock on!
