This is my favorite music of his, he seemed to work really well with this band, very high quality original sounding music

After losing my son Jimmy this song is so sad to me.So much time we won’t experience,as the clock keeps the pace.

'Human Wheels' was the last album when John Mellencamp had a world class band behind him. Great songs live. A performer and a band at their peak. Thanks to Oldschool7166 for uploading this brilliant rock performance. John it's time to get this band or at the very least earlier versions of it back together and ditch the also rans !

Agreed- he had a smoking band behind him for the early part of his career that REALLY made a huge difference in his sound. Billy Joel and Bryan Adams had the same deal. They all had great supporting bands that stuck with them for alot of years. But when they broke up those bands the lost the heart of their sound. The magic that was there was absent and they just sounded weak and often pretty lame from that point on.

I've heard this song performed by this band many, many times, but this is the best performance of it that I've come across yet, the band is very tight right here,.... GOOD STUFF.

Never saw this before. Seen everything else. ..,.um....,Holy fuck is Grissom is ON IT..... . That single note then blending 3 WITH dead on vibrato.. damn PRS is clear.....it BITES. Tone.... Chops....and um.,.chops. lol

sure, the fancy guitars are nice and everything, but they'd sound that way on practic'ly and-old-instruments: it comes from the soul, man, not-the-literal-wood so-to-speak, right?
