    I never saw him live but have been a fan of his music for over 40 years. I go through fazes of liking different music and artists but I have never grown tired of John's singing and playing

    Saw him 7 or 8 times. Every time different (weirdly so on the Grace and Danger tour ... the only one that left me indifferent). But yeah, the same. He is one of the few musical constants in my life.

    Excellent ! Been a fan of John Martyn for a very long time , first time I've seen this everybody in the band superb especially Eddi Reader who i last saw at Jack Bruce goodbye in London .

    Must have seen JM. Live at least 10 times. Sometimes unfogetably brill. Sometimes wrecked and terrible! But always his own Man! Loved him Gbnf. Best live act ever!! Xx

    Saw him live once. In a tiny venue, I was effectively sitting right next to him: there was no stage to speak of. He was, of course, "fashionably" late to come out, but, man, what a night.

    Where did this come from? Been listening to JM for nigh on half a century and this is the first time i've heard this. Absolutely marvellous. Great musicians, stunning, soul-drenched atmosphere and all topped off by the delightful Ms Reader. Had no idea they'd ever worked together. A winning combination

    This performance is from a television show called ‘Transatlantic Sessions’. There have been quite a few seasons / series but i am not sure what series this song was performed on. I think it might be series 2.
