Whoa - glad some folks have enjoyed something/anything here, comment left or not. Perhaps one day I'll get my youtubing ass back in gear if fortunes improve. Best wishes to all who've dropped by on the interweb . :)

Feb 24 2010:
Sorry dear viewer - I didn't fall off my bike, but I've not been tubing for yonks. Currently trying to figure out the interface changes confronting me since last here. Should anyone still require a reply, please holler again.
Thanks muchly for each and every kind word. Due to various drive failures and a poor backup regime I've lost most of this stuff, so quite enjoying it again myself. :)

Anyone who found themselves here because of SOA, do yourself a favour and check out this guy's back catalogue. Maybe start with 'Shoot Out the Lights' or 'Rumour and Sigh', though every album has gems. My personal favourite, 'I Want to See the Bright Lights...' may have a little too much English folk influence for some, but is a work of absolute genius, Alternatively, check out his performance of ' Cooksferry Queen' on Later.

Sorry but this was just awful. Not Nanci but Maura - she got every verse in completely the wrong order and changed some of the words. Nanci was completely drowned out sadly, as Maura didn't bother to adjust the volume of her voice, to accommodate Nanci's much quieter voice. Maura, should perhaps have taken the time to learn the song - Really not very respectful in my opinion. Nanci being the true professional that she was - adjusted herself accordingly - says it all!

There was a time and a place and this music so reminds me of how better life was back then and how lucky I lived in that time and had great music. Not like the awfulness of modern music now!

Fuck yeah dude... like... this song sucks ass but... it's the earliest version of a Molly bawn I've ever heard... seemingly no relation musically nor lyrically to any other version I've ever heard and... well, again, it's terrible but... still the earliest Molly bawn I've come across and might very well sound better with a better voice and a slightly different arrangement... fuckin awesome. Thank you for sharing this
