This is how I was born again, started with false doctrine of law of attraction. Though I was a professed believer, raised in the church, and had discernment as to what was not biblical, I delved so deep into new age meditation that the Good LORD allowed me to withstand temporary possession from an evil spirit to wake me up to the truth. The Lord freed me from my chains and used what the enemy meant for evil to bring me back home. Praise be to the Lord, forever and ever!

Every Day I Listen to John MacArthur. He reminds me every Day What happened the last 3 years ,He kept preaching . He kept his CHURCH open ,He preached all through the absolute tyrrany of our Governments . He is my example ,he stood his ground in face of persecution from the Governor the his state. He spoke out ,when others were silent . GOD bless John MacArthur ,and every other brave soul who has the courage to say NO . Amen.!

Our Churches today especially in Nigeria is full of PROSPERITY CHURCHES... 99% of all are base for the MONEY, People in the church gives more than 500,000$ to churches hoping to get more and sometimes it works Nigeria today is full of Prosperity churches , Many people are coming to church today to get a better Life from God,,, is hard to see a good and true Gospel today... May the lord Bless John MacAuthur continuously, Joel Osteel really brain washed me but today I am free after watching this sermon Thanks for opening my Eyes.. +Nayo Son The Prosperity Gospel has had a devastating impact on the African continent. It breaks my heart. But there is hope! Pastor Conrad Mbewe is a fine preacher in Africa - I forget at the moment which country he is in, but he is a true and faithful servant, and has preached at John MacArthur's church several times, as well as being a good friend and associate to John. You can find him here at YT by word searching his name if you are not familiar with him. And I am so glad you've come out of that false teaching as a result of this video! That's awesome! If and when you have the time, and have not done so already, please watch the "Strange Fire Conference 2013" videos. Conrad Mbewe is in a couple of those vids, too. A total of 19 videos in all, and worth every minute of your time. God bless, my friend. Spread the news of these great men of God to all you know!

This may not be your best life now, Pastor John, but this is one of your best sermons ever!

I got completely caught up into all this Health wealth prosperity gospel but Jesus saved me March 3, 2002 at 3 o’clock in the morning by his divine work… two years prior he caused me to have a softened heart and turn toward Him in desperation repent for my sins and He only prepared the ground, watered it shined light on it and harvested me in 2002… praise the Lord I’m saved that’s all I know. The best is yet to come I can’t wait for his return!

Fear God and depend on Him for everything 1. Clear your heart of any sin. Is there anything that keeps me from hearing the truth? Confess these sins, repent. 2. Bring your desires to a position of neutrality. God I want what you want. Knowing God's will. 3. Exercise patience to wait in a confident expectation and anticipation of God's action on our behalf. To refuse to run ahead of Him, trying to solve our problems for ourselves. Be willing to wait upon God. 4. Be alert to pressure, external pressure from close people. Be very careful who you listen to. Internal pressure from self. 5. Persistent prayer, continuously pray without ceasing, move from doubt, fear, to begining to trust Him. Trust Him when you have no evidence that God has heard us. Don't move ahead until you get direction. 6 Rest in God's promise. God's Word is God's mind in print, find wisdom for all desicion from there. God's Word sifts our thoughts, builds our Faith in His promise to hear our prayers. 7. Wait for God's peace. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. When I have God's peace I know I have the answer.

Bros & Sis, consider this question: Why do non Catholic Christians believe that the Bible is definitely the inspired scriptures considering that the Bible was searched, sorted, selected, put together and declared to be the final books inspired by God, by the Catholic church from around 25k manuscripts (the original couldn't be found when the time the Bible was being put together). This process was under the guardianship and authority of the Pope. The books of the Bible were chosen and finalized with the authority of the Popes. So, why do non Catholic Christians use this Bible or at least its core (some Christians removed some books and changed some translations), that the Catholic church put together, through the Pope's finality of authority, instead of them just searching, sorting, selecting and putting together their own using their individual consciences and authority as they claim all good Christians can identify truth? The Bible is a Catholic created book and declared the true holy God inspired scriptures by the SOLE authority of the Pope. THEY USE THE CORE OF THIS SAME BIBLE, SO IT IMPLIES THEY BELIEVE THAT THE POPE HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DECLARE TRUTH. AND NOW THEY BELIEVE (THIS BELIEF/ FALSE TEACHING/ WRONG LOGIC IS STARTED BY LUTHER) THE POPE DOESN'T HAVE THAT SAME AUTHORITY AS HE HAD WHEN DECLARING THE BIBLE WAS THE TRUE GOD INSPIRED SCRIPTURES, AND THAT ALL TRULY FAITHFUL CHRISTIANS HAVE THAT AUTHORITY. I was introduced to the real God of the bible by a man named Philip Hall while serving time in prison here in Colorado. We would listen to John Macarthur and the truth every night or every chance we had on a little radio. It wasn't until some ten plus years later would I realize just how much I was learning, how much I was retaining, and how much both Mr. Macarthur and Philip Hall were transforming my life to live loving Jesus Christ and the truth of this life we live. Hands down one of the most truthful and honest, by the bible preachers alive today.

In 1973, I was involved in a multi level marketing business; they used positive thinking books with a religious flair. One chapter was directions on how to use your occult powers. What you have described is exactly how you invite evil into your life. Thankfully the Lord intervened and I was saved and have been serving Him since then.

@@ronr.511 Multi level marketing and non profits do not vibe well. There is no buy in, there is no debt. You may not like the earning power of a large church, but you should at least criticize it correctly otherwise you make your criticism reflect back on you.

You don’t attain Salvation by saying an empty prayer, and if you are born again, you will AUTOMATICALLY submit to Christ and do good deeds. Maybe you haven’t been born again, so you really don’t understand.

John MacArthur - through his brilliant instruction I have become a blessed Christian. Thank you Jesus for your grace. It took me 72 years for this magnificent blessing. God is so patient.

There is a day when the Lord of Lords and King of Kings will be able to return to the earth with His Bride the over coming Church but just prior to that the Man Child and the first fruits will be raptured to the throne that will be the first time that other than Jesus Christ the first God-man have entered into heaven and they will return with the Lord as His bide army to over throw the anti Christ and satan will be cast into the abyss for a thousand years with much more to come. Today the believers in Christ who fall asleep will go to paradise and will await the resurrection of the dead and the dead without Christ who are in the unpleasant part of Hades are those who will wait a thousand years to come before the great white throne for their judgement

@geda life 9 of the 10 commandments are moral laws, The sabbath is not. All 10 commandments are carried over into the new testament.

If God will have all men to be saved, and if most men are lost, then how can God be supreme (1 Tim.2:3,4)? If Christ is the Propitiation for the sins of the whole world, did He die in vain for the lost (1 John 2:2)? If God is going to reconcile the universe through Christ, how can some be tormented forever (Col. 1:20)? How can God, in Christ, gather all things together as one while billions remain eternally estranged (Eph.1:10)? If all die in Adam, and a few are made alive in Christ, how can grace much more abound than sin (Rom. 5:20)? @@dustinkay274 yes “in Christ alone I place my trust and my glory in the power of the cross.” How many of us sing that song and yet believe our repentance and our faith are what get us into good standing with God, when God tells us otherwise. It’s all a gift, lock, stock, and barrel. “Every good and perfect gift comes from God.” “How will he not, along with Him (giving us his only son), Freely give us ALL good things.” (Romans 8:32 ) and salvation is by grace (a gift) and faith is a gift too. Leaves us with nothing in our hands to bring to please him, but he calls us chosen, beloved, justified, holy, flawless (blameless in his sight.) Not much more we can do but rest and enjoy and worship.

“If you follows osteen’s advice, you will have your best life now. Far better than your next life..” Lol that made my day 😂🤣

You do know that John is a multi millionaire with a property portfolio three expensive homes (one has tennis court and pool). It would be interesting to know the full extent of his wealth, His yearly salary and stock portfolio etc. He certainly believes on osteens theology of living your best life now.

@@thelasthourgetready It's not a sin to be wealthy. Job, Abraham, Solomon, David, to name a few, all were wealthy. Wealth is however very dangerous to someone who doesn't have the wisdom to handle it. It is much for the same retason you wouldn't give a child a loaded gun that God doesn't give his children wealth.

@Deb Harris Calvinism is a demonic belief. I don't consider him a brethren as He denies God's plan of salvation. Can you name one scripture that says we have no free will to accept Christ? I've been reading the Book for 45 yrs and can't find any scripture to back up Calvinism.

Thank God for John MaCarthur. He is One of the few who labors in the Word seeking the truth and because of this desire, God has opened his understanding. Speaking for myself, I was dead, a child of disobedience, a son of wrath who could do nothing with my mouth but bring on more corruption. But now I am saved, redeemed, washed in the blood of Christ and do have power, but not my power, rather the same power that God worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, works in me, not to bring into existence some worldly affection, works in me to conform me to the image of His Son, to the praise of His glorious grace! I see my shortcomings and I see my life is hidden in Christ.

Thank you so much for that sermon. It touched me and open my eyes that had been tricked by satan in believing his junk. I didn’t realize what was happening to me. I know now. With GODS help I will not turn my eyes that way again. Thank you for being so bold and laying it out as you did. Yep. Well said. God bless you Sir. When we get that message deep down it is very good, but can be hard. However, staying with it really pays off, fairly quickly in the grand scheme of things. I ask God to cast out any unclean spirits or evil tendencies in me, in The name of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God. (First I forgive all involved even the spirits themselves, and I repent of sins even apologizing and pleading the blood of Christ). This is exactly out of the bible. And sometimes I feel it physically, powerfully. And sleep extra. More just keeps coming but Im turning a corner. Life is getting better. Im 53. Casting out demons is utterly fundamental and primary to Christ’s actions and what He taught and told others to do. Why is it either absent or a sideshow in most churches? Derek Prince has helped. Anyway I appreciated your comment. Let us stay the course, and stay humble. (Oh, and a believers baptism is needed, ideally first but whatever can be done)

First of all a man preaches the truth and God makes them come alive! Second of all please learn the difference between goats and sheep, sheep will never be goats and goats can never be sheep! Christ did not come to save the world from sin he came to save his church from sin, his bride! If all that God owns will come to him and he will lose none how is there an opportunity for any of the vessels of wrath to come to the truth! God will never birth them again because they were born to be taken! If you make yourself a willing vessel, and wrestle to stay in line with His Word, {meaning do not be a hyprocric}: be a doer of His Word} and not to be offensive: BUT He even used a donkey to speak for Him: you do not need to be in a ministry, you can step out His Spirit will lead you: BUT He did move them out two by two. Pray that Yahuah will continue the process of making you Holy: this is what we all need {After we KNOW HIM ofcourse}. : )

Why would you be surprised? You are saved by grace through faith. Your salvation is guaranteed by the fact that Jesus died for you. Paul explains we can approach God confidently because of His grace.

I thank God for Dr J MacArthur. I used to find Bible very boring but by the power of the Holy Spirit, I came across his video "why does God allows evil" and since then, Bible is been very interesting. Thank you Lord Jesus

You do know that John is a multi millionaire with a property portfolio three expensive homes (one has tennis court and pool). It would be interesting to know the full extent of his wealth, His yearly salary and stock portfolio etc. He certainly believes on osteens theology of living your best life now.

A lot to listen to on youtube (and waste my time with) but I'm attracted to these preachings. This man talks truth.

You poor misguided person. Hopefully one day you will actually "see the light" and base your beliefs on facts and evidence rather than myths.

So very grateful… always first and foremost to God Almighty, but then for the true gift of men such as Dr. MacArthur who help us in gaining greater insight into the Word.

Oh my ...Thank you God for leading me to hear this. Two yrs ago I stopped listening to Tbn because I wanted to find out who C.S. Spurgeon. Then to various other Wonderful Men. Washer, Piper, R.C. Sproule...and Mcarthur ! Thank you God for saving me from false teachers and preachers. Thank you again God again for letting me hear this tonight ! Leading to more Truth. The true Word of God ...Jesus !

Interesting comment you made, very interesting. You should never call the doctrine of Christ, which I hold to, that of Satan. Be careful not to use irrational emotions against the scriptures as blasphemy against the Holy Ghost cannot be forgiven, and here you are blaspheming the Holy Ghost in attributing what he lays down as the doctrine of Christ as being of Satan.As formerly an unbeliever I would never have said what you have said as I had at least filial fear, holy respect for the scriptures, and would never abuse them as you here do.

This kind of preaching has been going on since 1517.

I pray for people who believe this. My own mother believes this with a passion. Im not all for it. Pray that people like that will humble themselves before God and repent and follow the true Gospel of Christ.

I am so grateful that Jesus rescued me out of false teachings like these. I was so very lost and hopeless - and the worst part is that I could not admit it to myself.

According to MacArthur's belief in total depravity you can't become a better you because you're totally depraved.

@@mkmason2002 No brother, he's trying to say that it is impossible to walk with Christ without understanding the pain and real feeling of walking in the path of the Cross, which was surrounded by the most darkest power on earth (in this sermon he used the word "depravity"). That's why Jesus told us to take up our cross and follow him. Only with that way we can really understand about His love and grace. You know, its like you're telling to an orphan friend, that you understand their feeling, while you're still living comfortably with your parents. Sounds like a bull right? And yes, since we all are the descendants of Adam and Eve, we are all depraved. We inherit their sins in our blood. We can't escape that, therefore, we can't become better. We need grace, and the only one who can provide it is Jesus Christ. That's why MacArthur said the notion that you are such a noble person and a champion, is a lie right out of hell. We are all the sons and daughters of evil desire. If we are not, then why even Christ had comes into this world to sacrifice and die at a cross at the first place? I hope you understand this. When I got saved I walked with Christ and I didn't understand His pain. MacArthur is saying you can't be saved unless God chooses you. You need to listen more closely to his belief. He clearly believes in the evil doctrine of predestination.

@@mkmason2002 I didn't mean pain in its literal meaning. What I mean is, the pain of sacrificing yourself to something that you didn't commit. He sacrifice himself because of our sins. How could you claimed to be saved by Christ without even understand this basic concept? If you don't understand or even feel that pain, you must've been feel so free to sin again now or in the future since His cross has put no weight on your shoulder. The grace is for all WHO ARE WILLING TO BELIEVE AND RECEIVE IT. Which part of the sermon said it is only for some chosen people?

@@mkmason2002 Lots of people come to Christ and repent because first of all, they feel GUILTY and LOST. How do you explain that? Because true sons of The Lord know in their deepest mind, that no matter how much money we have in the bank, we are no more than a complete greedy human being. There are so many rich people on earth have confessed that they are not happy even though they're rich. Why? Because our mind know that we are still depraved and need grace to be healed. Without His grace everything in this world is going to be useless. EVERYTHING. MacArthur was right, If you can't even admit the concept of total depravity, then it is a lie that you admit to be saved by grace. It's almost saying that you need no grace to go to heaven, only by human achievement. The concept is really simple, I still don't understand why lots of people don't get it.

The Shack was awful. At the time I read it I was in a church that promoted it. I repented and left at church years ago and feel just awful for having ever gone down that path partake of all of that filth. Thank God he opened my eyes and brought me back on the right path. He is so faithful!

Hey, I want to remind you that God loves us. His miracles are real just trust Him and always pray. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, overthinking, lack of finances, or anything that makes you doubt yourself, just remember that we have God and he will provide for our needs. Nothing is imposibble for God; just keep your faith in Him and don't stop praying
