The woman is hesitant to engage in what would be considered a scandal by friends and family. Meanwhile the man is urging her to succumb to her lustful desires, defy social standards, and stay with him. She pretends to resist the man's advances to feign modesty and cloak her deviance from societal norms. In the end, the lyrics suggest that she succumbs to her desire to spend the night with him. Ultimately, there's no foul play.. I wouldn't say the song is morally commendable or anything, but it certainly doesn't promote rape or "misogynistic" ideals.

This might has well had just been: “I have to go out.” “Okay, bye.” SONG OVER.

Steve Hunter That’s be far more suitable. Making the woman far more inviting while the guy wants to go. But the context of a guy being shunned for an active sex life would come off as odd.

They should rename the song "Baby Just Go Outside"
