As a very big fan of Khabib, I still and always respect John Kavanagh a lot.
I could listen to John talk everyday. His knowledge and understanding of his sport and life is incredible. Unlike a lot of coaches in the sport, he’s honest and not bias. Great podcast TG

Always had a lot of respect for you Brian but never more than watching this podcast. A lot of people would crumble and play it safe but you really asked the tough questions! Big achievement, stood up and met the challenge!

When I first saw this post,I immediately dismissed it and reckoned it was going to be garbage ( just because of some preconceptions I had about the channel) but as a huge john kavanagh/sbg fighters fan from Dublin, I absolutely loved this interview. Deadly intro and all round Good fun, honest ,crazy interesting and just a good aul chin wag between yourself and JK. 👏👏👏 true Geordie dude. Subbed, liked and looking forward to seeing more of this type of content with interesting guests.

Part of being on a team is motivating your team mates, a coach like Kavanaugh is the one that plants him down on earth and makes him work harder but you need that confidence of people believing in you in order to excel.

Hes so genuine and humble! Crazy how Geordie got him on the podcast.
When I first watched this I had just started watching MMA due to Khabib vs Conor and I didnt understand 95% of what was being said and now re-watching it after over a year of just pure obsession with the sport really provides a lot of context.
Wooooooohhgh Remember fight after 229 Rogan interviewed him and i think what a Sound and Intersecting guy then True Geordie interviews him as well Weird much but Geordies Going after that Crown joe
Theres some striking resemblances between the way John and Conor speaks. You can tell they have been together for quite some years. Really enjoyed the podcast, very inspiring words, thanks Brian!
