Exceptional interviewer. His comments were more satisfying to me than many interviews I’ve seen of him, which is a credit to her. The connection of sexual minorities to individual taste for religion is rather profound. Glad I found this after five years. It also strikes a chord with me as an American now living outside the US, in my case Korea, and doubting whether I could ever return and therefore intrigued by his personal feelings on that.
I'm reading Cider House Rules now. Owen Meany is my favorite. Twisted River was great. I savor every word and it takes me forever to get through an IRVING book. I didn't realize IRVING wasn't always Canadian. He always seemed Canadian to me. Maybe there is a little God in him as he creates such real characters, I think back on them as I think back on old friends.
So hilarious see him in his office, I am so impressed of his stories. A prayer for Owen, is my best reading

Why Hilarious?
I want this so badly!
Protestant. He must be especially since 1/3 of A Prayer for Owen Meany (I can't even think of that book without tearing up) is all about Yankee Protestant denominations. Mind-numbing detail, at least for me, but it was well-crafted mind-numbing detail because Irving wrote it. Yay, Justin! 🇨🇦😻🇨🇦
Happy 75th Birthday John Irving

@r brooks williams Do you know what day or month?
I like this video because it shows John writing on camera; I love seeing a writer write. But when it comes to these sexual minorities, they're not owed anything. Vehemently disagree with that statement.
