John Hutcheson MC ACM TSM - Engineer officer, Royal Australian Engineers
Captain John Hutcheson joined the RAE in 1945. He was awarded the Military Cross for bravery in identifying minefields during the Korean War. In the Malayan Emergency he served with the British SAS, later returning to the Australian Army for a tour in Vietnam in 1971-72.

Very interesting sir; my dad was with the BCOF in Japan (Engineers) after ww2. He ended up in Korea with the British I think. He was sgt Jim Mudge (fatty) if that rings any bells, take care!
