*I’m a big John Grisham fan & am currently reading The Litigators. I wholeheartedly agree with his writing tip of not introducing 20 characters in the first chapter. I recently read Dominick Dunne’s book People Like Us; ultimately it was a pretty good book but it was really hard to follow in the beginning because there were so many characters introduced in the first 2 chapters.*

I just finished "A Time for Mercy", and I feel it is the best book I have ever read. His creativity knows no bounds, and I love his books. He is an awesome writer, and I am jealous of his talent. Keep writing Mr. Grisham, and I will keep buying your work.

Besides stephen king this guy is the most prolific writer we have working today. Plus like stephen king he's a genuinely humble guy. The two of them did a q and a session together I'd encourage people to check that out it's on youtube.

John Grisham is one of my favorite authors and his books are smart books, very likable books. Bestsellers are important and they are, without doubt, smart books. They are just entertainment, they are full of information and different world views. I envy such success, though not jealous.

With him being friends with Stephen King, I find it odd that he basically says being a pantser or discovery writer is BS. I like him, but he knows better than that. Not everyone outlines and you don't HAVE to do it.

Even though Bruce Cable is a handsome, hopeless, heterosexual ladies man I read him as the character Beverly Leslie from 'Will and Grace'. Voice, mannerisms, accent, etc... I think the seersucker suits and bowties threw me off. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
