He's my favorite author. I love the genre. I have a background in law having worked as a paralegal. I love every facet of what is covered in the stories and how John goes about telling the story.

Just finished a time for mercy, absolute masterpiece.

Grisham, Louis L’Amour, & John Steinbeck are my three favorite authors. Just bought his book “Sooley” today. Looking forward to starting it.

For me my top 3 authors are : Stephen King, John Grisham, and Micheal Crichton, in that order. I'm reading "Camino Winds", one of John Grisham's newer books, and it's shaping up to be one of my favorites; I highly recommend it.

My favorite author......I don't want to put his books down and when I finish his latest book, it's not soon enough when his next book is released!

Love his writing, Ford county novels are wonderful

I really liked his books even before I became a lawyer. They are very realistic in their law aspects - other than the courtroom scenes, which are overly dramatic (understandably).

I think his non legal novels are overlooked and underrated.

Recommend Camino Island first, then Camino Winds. Camino Ghost I understand comes out in June 2024.

Kudo's to him, I never respected him till I watched this video, his ideals and the Innocence Project did that.

I remember watching this movie and I could barely get through it because how awful it was what they did to the poor little girl . When I was 5 I was sexually abused by a 69-year-old man who lived around the corner and we ended up in the Magistrates Court for a hearing on a very hot summer day and I remember slices of the Sun the glaring ugly sunlight coming in and I never saw so much dust just flying around in that sliver and I kept looking at it because it was easier to do that and see how playful it was rather than while I was sitting next to the judge on the stand explaining what happened and seeing the faces of all my relatives and neighbors looking so strangely at me . The worst part where my parents in the front row and I have no idea to this day what I said but my father looked like he was nauseous put his head down and was rubbing as far ahead while my mother stood up screaming and crying and pounding her fist yelling out " oh my God , oh my God ! " . How in the world did we ever lose that case ? ... HOW !?! Years later I asked a good friend of mine who I grew up with who at the time of my questioning was the assistant DA . I said I need to look at the transcripts and he asked if we won the case and I said no . Michael sounded so sad when he said if it's been over 17 years the transcripts are gone ... they've been destroyed . In the years after that and especially more recently I have pieced together that yet once again politics plays a part in destroying people's lives ... even little girls' lives . Through words from the grapevine and just piecing together a little bit here and there I was able to deduce that the disgusting perpetrator named Angelo was connected to a family in the local power structure in my hometown . Also as I went into my young adult years it was very obvious that early on the mob had a stronghold in Clifton Heights Pennsylvania back then and the early 1960s and probably still does . I know I will have answers ... I know this . In the meantime I don't know if the laws are still the same with respect to minors being on the witness stand but I can see of no reason court documents and transcripts ... especially the words of a minor and most importantly a young child should never ever be removed especially where trauma to the child is involved . In a half year I will be 65 and still have no answers 60 years later as to what I said and why my mother was screaming and going crazy . I do know that for years many after the hearing neighbors would put their heads close together and stare at me while whispering . I was too naive to know what was going on and always thought it was because we came from the second poorest family in the parish . About 19 years ago my therapist said my mind protects me from being able to relive all the events because he said it is so traumatic we don't know what it would do to me . ... every now and then over the years I will have this weird feeling like I'm going to blackout and all I can see is what looks like a white round donut in front of my eyes as if somebody is pressing my eyeballs in actually quite hard and then I lose my balance and have to grab onto whatever is around because I start to collapse and I get real bad ringing in my ears . I was starting to remember something differently more and more recently and especially in the middle of the night and I realized things are going so well for me right now why traumatize myself . I'll deal with it later

I have 35 of his signed books. I actually have over 90 but they are the same 35 books times 3 because one set went to my mom and the other 2 sets went to my aunt.

Someone remind me to get a copy of the jur and Fort County stories for my daughter. She started reading one of those I can't remember which and I can't remember
