    I just listened to the version from the record and like, "this is the best. " Then I listen to this and my head explodes from the emotion you get off him and I'm like, "nope, this is the best one." Then I listen too the record version again and I'm like, "nope, thus one has so much more instruments than the acoustic one." Well, I just listened to this one again and my fucking head just exploded again and I'm crying this time. 💥💥💥💥

    Adam Meyer lol they both are amazing in different ways, you can really see the emotion and pain in this one though, truly powerful. I do like the album one cause of all the different instruments and synths give it a deeper feeling but I love this live version especially when he gets into it and starts shaking his head he truly is in the moment

    @BIockbusterz yea he plays at clubs for small audiences since he doesnt have a huge fanbase. john though that the fame was boosting their egos and they were embracing the rock star life while john was trying to reject it.

  • @added23
    @added2313 жыл бұрын

    @BIockbusterz he actually quit the band in 92 because of the fame. he was anti-rock star and didnt like the fact that the chili peppers were getting bigger. his favourite artists were people who were unsuccessful in the mainstream. it definitely helped his music get noticed but he isnt looking for a large audience, just people that truly enjoy his music for what it is.

    @BIockbusterz well he actually left 4 years ago so its not really recent news. but the reason why is because he doesnt feel the desire to be in a rock band anymore and enjoys spending his time writing his solo work. i cant disagree because while i think the chilis are good, they arent in their prime anymore. they arent really doing anything creative. if you heard their new single it sounds like it could fit on stadium arcadium and johns solo work is always evolving and stays genuine

    @BIockbusterz yea im not saying the chili's are bad. but you have to understand that the writing process with rhcp takes over a year and touring is 3-4 years so its really exhausting. after SA all of the chilis weren't feeling very good thats why they went on hiatus. and john had to wait until after SA to release the empyrean so its practically impossible to do both at the same time. i do agree with you that hes a great guitarist for rhcp but i dont blame him for leaving

    @BIockbusterz haha u dont know to much about rhcp eh? its a long story. he left in 1992 for a number of reasons. he didnt like the way the band was reacting to the success, he had voices in his head telling him he was supposed to leave and he didnt feel like himself. he had a big drug problem back then (heroin, crack, coke). this video is from about 3 years after he quit drugs. he always released solo records when rhcp wasnt doing anything. in my first response to you i said why he left in 2009.
