I just thought of you and your vids when last night, I saw a video where they recently played Strip My Mind and in the intro, you can hear and see John messing with... the tone control of his bridge pickup (7-17 toronto)

Toshi's 5/20 recording sure picks up John's amp sound real nice

Just at the right moment as I'm in process of acquiring one old and worn Dynacomp pedal :D

@@ECooksI think it’s a problem with filming on iPhones. I was just front row looking as his og guitar but when I look at my iPhone videos it looks like the proposed signature. It’s a lighting thing

Have you already made a video about Johns change of the White Falcon? The current one has Dynasonic singlecoils, where as the previous one had filtertrons.

He changes the settings I got a picture at the SLC show and the dyna comp was set with the output all the way up and the compressor at 11 o clock. I can send the picture

Funny…! I use the same settings as John 🤓 and I use it for sustain on my PRS SS SE or also to even the sound on the Humbuckers on my PRS Custom 22 SE… BTW I use the JAM Dyna-ssoR

I don't think so. He needs to have full control over his rig, probably because he is constantly changing settings during shows

Didn't he use the Micro Amp for Soul to Squeeze and Give it Away in previous gigs? Then can we assume that those 2 pedals have almost the same effect? Thanks in advance!

@@nojeshei Well, if John uses the Micro Amp to push his amp into compression more and also uses his compressor with a volume kick it is not that different.

@@nojeshei If you turn them up fully, like John does, every boost adds compression because the amps cannot go louder.

You should get super into Adam Jones and Josh Hommes rigs too 😂 for me
