I know you wanted to make a video regarding John’s usage of the dynacomp so (you probably already know he is utilizing it in that way) there is a great shot of John stepping on the dynacomp as the californication solo ends. I saw it on Toshi Aizawa’s channel and I’m pretty sure it was the May 20 show. Edit: yup May 20 indeed

Would love some gear insight on the new pearl jam tour! They used dumble modded tweeds to record and look to be using modded tweeds live too.

i was at that tokyo gig. it was great

fz1w is a cool fuzz that goes from distortion into fuzz ...very versatile fuzz ;)

It also looked to me like he's playing an advanced version of his upcoming signature strat for most of the Tokyo shows. I dunno, I just have a feeling because his 62 strat is really old but, he now appears to play it for most of the shows. What do you think?

I chose this fuzz over others he had after testing

what songs did he use it on? I thought I saw him step on it Dani Cali for the bridge solo and probably the solo solo but what else? His sound was a little different, I honestly thought it was bc of tech difficulties or the fact that he ALWAYS forgets to turn his dumb chorus off but idk.

It's funny, I bought that pedal because I thought it was a broad enough fuzz to let me emulate his various fuzz tones. But I sold it about 2 years ago because I didn't think it sounded enough like John's tone. I got a Big Muff, Fuzzrite, and Not the Notrite instead. I guess it goes to show you, don't sell your pedals, haha
